These are great pumps. They’re metal, they have a gauge, and they’re durable. They are the equivalent of the much more expensive pumps sold by the major pumping gear suppliers. The only caveat: keep in mind that you will need a male connector that works with your particular cylinder. I bought my cylinder from Vacu-tech (https://www.vacutech.com ), where what they call the male coupler can be found under Parts (https://www.vac … ucts.asp?cat=14 ).

That male coupler is standard for all professional pump systems. You can buy one for $1.30 from McMaster.com, PN 5012K251.

Any idea what the shipping cost is on that from McMaster? I ordered my coupler from Vacu-tech when I ordered the cylinder. I checked out the McMaster web site, but did not proceed far enough for them to quote a shipping price.

I ordered 2 couplers and some plastic tubing and the shipping was only $4.25 and very fast.

What size is the tubing and what kind?

I ordered PN 53955K14 clear polyurethane tubing that has 3/16” ID and 5/16” OD.

If you order this tubing and the above male connector, you can hook your Harbor Freight pump up to any cylinder that has female quick disconnect coupler.

4$ shipping for me as well, plus McMaster is super fast.

How much tube do you need for a setup? Since I am going to be paying for shipping I figure I will buy 2 or 3 times as much. This is my first go around. Buying the cylinder from LAP and buying everything else separately.

3 feet is good, so if you buy 10-12 feet you should be set for a long time.
