Help I don't understand how to use my Kaplan pump

I think I have everything assembled correctly, but I cannot find how to get the pressure up, If I pump the trigger sometimes the pressure will go up slightly, but will always go right back down, and I cannot even get the press needle to bounce above 3 or so. It does still make some suction noise so maybe it will work slightly, I have not tried with my dick yet, but there should be some way to raise the pressure, right?

It went pretty well I guess, I was pleasantly surprised that it seemed to lengthen my dick pumping, more than girth, as that is mainly what I am aiming for I didn’t try any pressure above 5 yet though.

There is really no need to go above 5”hg. If you want to add to your routine, add multiple sets with jelqing or massage inbetween pump sets. But you are just starting out, so don’t go too fast.
