Help! Problem choosing cylinder

Guys: I have a wide, flat dick. I went to one of the recommended websites to order a pump, but can’t figure out what size to order. here is why: they recommended, for a guy who is 5” circumference (such as me) a cylinder that is 1.5” wide. But my dick it almost 2” wide (from side to side), because it is only 1.5” from top to bottom. If I got that cylinder, the sides of my erection would be pressing against the plastic. On the other hand, if I got a much bigger one, wouldn’t there be empty space on the top and bottom? How do you deal with a wide, flat dick?

dangleman,

With your diameter being 2” but your circumference being 5”, I would suggest a 1.75” diameter cyliner. This way while pumping you can force the expansion to occur on the underside of your dick and top of your dick where you want your gains to occur. Use lots of lube and keep the vacuum pressure low.

Definitely don’t get the 1.5” tube. You’ll be much happier with the 1.75” tube. The main reason for not getting too large a tube is to prevent your balls from getting sucked into the tube. I doubt that would happen to your dick in a 1.75” tube, so go for it and save yourself the expense of having to buy another tube in another month.

Some people buy a tight fitting tube because they think it will stress length expansion over girth expansion. I haven’t found this to be the case. The theory is that the vacuum will expert more pull lengthwise in a packed tube because there is no more room to expand girthwise. The problem with this theory is that this extra force is more than offset by the extra friction it has to work against in a packed tube (ie lots for penis surface area touching the inside of the tube). In other words, even though there may be more raw vacuum force pulling lengthwise in a packed tube, the net stretch is actually less. I have four tubes of different diameters, and that has been my personal experience.

The ideal size tube for you is 1.75. The 1.5 is too small. Hopefully you will get expansion like me which occurs more on the underside then the sides. The 1.75 tube will take you up to 5.5 girth, so eventually you will be getting the 2.0 tube. It just depends on how fast you progress.

I’m confused. If his dick is 2” wide, how could he use a cylinder that is smaller than that?

ChuckR,

Dicks are malleable and not solid inflexible objects. With lube his dick can slide into the 1.75” cylinder, and under vacuum pressure expansion will be pushed to the other areas of his penis.

Well I know that you and Avocet are the experts on this, but it just seems to me that expansion would also go to other areas if the fit was just snug from side to side (i.e. 2”), rather than actually compressed.

Hell, I don’t know. In the worst case, he’d just have to buy another cylinder.

His circumferance is 5” no matter how laterally expanded he gets, Chuck, so a 1.75 will do him. He may find that he has to bump up a size sooner than some of us but my intuition says he is too early for a 2”.

Interestingly, both in sex and in pumping, an erect penis will adapt itself to the containter it is in. Recently, to the surprise of scientists, it was learned that a totally straight erection (no matter your erection angle) actually bends upward in the vagina although we are not aware of that happening while we thrust. Same in a cylinder, which may explain why a lot of guys, over time, are able to correct some of the angle of a Peyronie’s curve.

This discovery sort of belies the myth of a “diamond cutter.” In action, they do what they have to do to deposit semen where it has to go.
