Help with cylinder sizing

Hey guys, I could use some advice from some knowledgeable pumpers.

First off, I have read the cylinder sizing thread and various other threads about pumping. My question is regarding cylinder size and how it will effect any gains. My penis is 5.5” base girth, tapering to a hair under 5” beneath the head, and my head is 5.25”.. Strange variations I know, lol. I have my pics in my pic thread if anyone is curious. So, what I’m looking for is a little more length, but mostly an evening of girth along the shaft. If I get to 6” at the base and 5.5” just below the head I’ll be extremely happy.. But even if I could just get that 5.5” base girth all the way up would be great.

So I’m debating between a 1.75” and 2” cylinder. I know larger diameter cylinders seem to focus more on girth while smaller ones length, and gprent’s chart makes it seem like my head would barely fit into a 1.75” cylinder, and my base wouldn’t at all. Since I’m wanting a little length, but mostly an evening of girth, what do you all think is best? Also.. I really want to avoid making the head larger until I get a fatter shaft. I’m plenty happy with my head size.. If I could finish with a 5.25/5.5” head followed by 5.5/5.75” shaft I would be very happy.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated! Fyi.. I was sold on the 2” cylinder until I saw Russian Member’s latest pics showing him packing the 1.75” cylinder and how fat and uniform his shaft is.. I want that, lol.

Well if all you want to do is pack the tube then you don’t want the 2”.
I find packing to be uncomfortable and I’m a little sceptical to whether it would actually even out girth.
If you can afford both that would be a good way to go.

You might not be packing in it but I recommend the 2”.

Well my goal is not to pack it, it’s to get some gains and even out my girth. I’m wondering if packing the tube will help even it since I would pack the base long before the rest.

I have been pumping for three years. I have changed cylinders when I start packing 3/4 of the way up. Unfortunately, I still have a tapered shaft, currently about 5.25” at the base to 5” at mid shaft and a little above 4.75” under the glans. Some may have a different experience, but I have remained similarly proportioned as my girth has increased. Perhaps you can not alter the genetic shape of your dick. I am currently packing a 1.75 cylinder 3/4 of the way up so I recently ordered a 2” cylinder.

Based on my experience, I would say a 1.75” cylinder would be too small for your size and you would be packing it all the way up, leaving no room for expansion.

Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

I have never used a cylinder, but I can give my two cents. Just take your mean girth. Divide this by the number pi and you have your desired diameter of the cylinder.

For instance:

Mean girth = 6 inches
Cylinder diameter= 6/π = 1.9 inches

If proximal circumference is larger than distal circumference, take the proximal circumference as mean. There will a proper plugging fit at the base this way, while leaving room for expansion of the distal parts.

A cylinder which is a fraction smaller than the number you calculated would of course make for a better fit.

Initial stats; BPEL 8.5 inch, EL 8.3 Inch, EG 6.4 inch. Goal; EL +1 inch, EG: Not a priority. Equal girth along the shaft.

Progress: 5 weeks: BPEL: 8.8 inch. (+7mm) EL: 8.6 inch (+7mm). SL: 8.9 EG: 6.7 averaged out (+4-8mm. Growth though failing to create equal girth along shaft)

Good and informative post, thanks. Alright, so you’re packing a 1.75 with 5.25 base girth, so I guess I should definitely go 2”. Really, I would like to even my shaft girth out, but if it stayed the same with the taper but got larger I would be fine. Like if I could get to 6” base and 5.25-5.5” below the head.. That would be great.

2” it is I guess.. Thanks.

Your theory makes sense. However, in reality, the vacuum in the cylinder causes the penis to expand beyond its normal erect girt. For example, my MSEG is about 5 inches. However, under vacuum, my girth can expand up to 5.5 inches or more, depending on how much time my penis remains under vacuum. Accordingly, when ordering a vacuum cylinder, you need to take maximum vacuum engorgement under consideration.

I have just ordered an thickwall 2” cylinder.. before I used an flared 2 1/4” cylinder and my base girth is 0,4 cm over 6”..and my experience with the smaller cylinder is that my erection builds up faster and an nicer feeling going on from just under my middle shaft to my head.. but I want a bigger head and lenght, and that’s what the vacuum focus on when you almost have packed the cylinder wideness.. so maybe you should try the 2” but not that long so you can build up your girth

Starting size: 7.48" X 5.51" Currently: 10.1" X 6.4"

Heat is the key!

I have similar dimensions to yours and I am quite happy with my 2” tube.

Start (Oct 2010) NBPEL: 5, BPEL: 5.875 inches, BASE GIRTH: 5.25 inches, MID GIRTH: 5

(November 2013) NBPEL: 5.875, BPEL: 6.625 inches, BASE GIRTH: 5.625 inches, MID GIRTH: 5

Goal NBPEL(7-7.5)xMEG(5.5-6) (journal)

Thanks for all the info guys. I’ll definitely go 2”. Hopefully I can focus on the shaft some without making the head truly humongous, lol.

AvgGuy, now that you’re a little over 5.5 base how much of the tube do you pack?
