How I got my Pro-Xzek Supreme Vacuum Pump Kit for 39.99 shipped

I am unable to post in the pumpers forum so I thought I would post it over here. Hopefully someone can move it to the correct forum. I noticed no one else had posted something like this so I would show you how I ordered mine for 60% less than retail.

I did this and I ended up only paying $39.99 ( or $39.98 ) and since shipping was free, that was all I had to pay. I hope this helps some people who are looking for a decent pump at a decent price. I feel $100+ for a pump is a little extreme.

Looks like a low quality cylinder, but the pump with gauge looks like good quality. It also does not list the cylinder size, it’s probably something like 7x2. Keep us posted as to when it arrives, and what you think of it.

I have already received it, I feel the chamber is pretty solid and the pump and gauge are really good craftsmanship as far as I can tell. All metal pump makes it quite durable. The only complaint I could possibly have is the silicone insert ( looks like a donut ) is a little on the small side as far as inside diameter. I ended up cutting the soft silicone a little so when I was pumped I would not get nearly as much pressure from the seal on my shaft.

But don’t get me wrong, I am no expert in pumps. This is the first one I have owned but compared to other pumps in the $40 price range this one takes the cake, even if the only good part is the pump and gauge.

Sounds like they add the insert, and donut to make up for the large circumference of the tube. I’ve got to thank you for the information, with those discounts I can get some toys for the lady very cheap.

I understand Thunder, and I must say I appreciate what you have done with the forums, and keeping it nice and clean is definitely a hard job.

I just inspected the pump and gauge and cannot seem to find a brand name on it. I am going to assume it is a generic pump and gauge and say the Pro-Xzek is not worth the original cost of $99 but I definitely think it’s worth $40. Anyone already have one care to comment on it?

Edit : The user guide does say the “NANMA ‘Pro-XZEK’ Vacuum Pump in it though. If that is any help.
