I just bought a pump - feedbacks

Looks kinda nifty. Similar to an LA pump. Was it used by someone before you bought it? I dont know if i would buy a used pump. Anyway good luck with it.

I bought that exact same pump a couple of months ago; Well, that is, if it’s the Dr. Joel Kaplan pump. Very good price on ebay but was still a waste of my money, because it was actually too big for me. Wasted more money on a smaller cyclinder from Kaplan’s website. I don’t say it was of money because it didn’t work, but mainly because I tossed them into the trash only after a few weeks of use. I hated the way the cylinder starts off wide at the bottom, and get smaller as you go to the tip. My penis would get inflated, but my glands would be cone shapped. I think they purposely make them like this so you’re obligated to buy the cylinder that concentrates on inflating the penis head. I emailed the website with a question about this issue, and of course I got no response.

Well, to make a long story not as long, I’m never going to pump again! Why? Because I finally figured out how to clamp properly by using a cable clamp. I get a nice “veiny” erection during a good clamping session. Unlike the smooth, round erection I get with vacuum pumping.

I’m not trying to discourage you from pumping, but I highly recommend that you include clamping in your ruotine. The shit just flat out works! Good luck!

My advice: You can really do some damage to your pecker with a pump.
Read up in the pumpers forum and start with and keep the vac LOW.
Seeing that pumped up shlong for the first time can be hypnotic
don’t let it get you out of control.

The pump you linked to does look impressive, but I’m not an expert on pumps.
Maybe some of the vets could chime in?
If it does indeed retail for $120 (the old infomercial trick) then yea you got a deal.
My S.O. mentioned to me a while back that RightAid or CVS pharmacies here in the U.S.
were selling pumps for like $30. Never did go check it out though. I don’t know if I could
I could buy one from the little hotties working the counter where I’m at.

Funny thing, when the S.O. mentioned this (it was some time last summer) I gave her the standard
response that everyone knows PE doesn’t work. If those things worked everyone would have one I told her -lol.

I may include clamping but I still have to do further research on that technique. The pump is on it’s way so I can’t cancel, so I’m still going to give it a try and see how I can deal with the issues you mentionned, thus making my routine more complete.

I still want to hear from other veteran pumpers!

I’m looking for feedbacks on this particular pump. I’m still reading a lot about pumping to make it safe, I’m not going to risk damaging my unit!

The little leather strap that comes with it is supposed to work just like a cock ring, or clamp. After you pump, you’re supposed to use the strap to trap the pumped blood into the penis. Definately be cautious, and follow the directions in the “pumping 101” thread. There’s a thread in the pumper’s forum somewhere created by Plasticman. He pumped at high vacuum levels and screwed up his unit. So definately follow the guidelines!

Jack: I have not responded much on the board lately but will have to advise you on that pump. The thing is plastic and not intended for regular use. It was orginally designed to bleed brake lines. Something that is done about 1 time/life. Mighty-Vac does make a metal one that does a terrific job. Its their silverline. The best pump is from LAPumps and is similiar to the metal pump. You will get several uses from the pump but be careful with the handles. When you get the pump notice how it is made and take notice of where the weak points are and then respect them. Don’t pump with quick grips. Best of luck. Steve

He did get a super deal on the whole package. If the cylinder works out for him, he’ll still have what appears to be a solid one which he can use or adapt to another pump if that becomes necessary. I agree about the plastic grip for sure. One drop on a hard floor and that may be history.

That’s the same pump and company selling it that I had posted about called healthy and active. It is a Kaplan pump system although the pump isn’t as good of quality as my old one. But, for the money, it will be a good starter for you. As for the tapered tube, I don’t find it to be as big of a problem as some of the others that have posted earlier. You common sense and enjoy.

JackDan: Hey man. Dont throw in the towel on pumping. I pump, jelg, clamp, and own a power jelqer. I dont do all of that each day but alternate between pe modalities. Just keep a balance in the midst of it all. Pumping is great for dick health and nighttime and morning wood as a man ages. Make sure you digest pumping 101 on this website. If I bought a used pump, for sure I would disinfect the cylinder with very hot soapy water and some type of disinfectant. You cant be too careful these days. I like pumping. It is effortless and breaks up the time I spend in P Eing. Keep posting to this forum. I am a new pumper and am making my way through this by gleaning from other mens experiences on this board….

I just got my pump today! I did my first 10 min session! It feels great, no visual increase after the session though, but I didn’t expect so anyways! My cylender is 9” long by 2” diam., I can fill completely the girth but I still have about 1 1/2 inch of lenght.. it seems like when I pump I don’t get much lenght in the tube…
