if no pressure gauge?

Hi guys, I just ordered a simple pump to give it a try. Unfortunately, it has no pressure indicator. So, is it a good idea to start pumping with 1/4 inch increment/week. Any idea? (BTW, it has a 9” X 2” tube).

If your pump doesn’t have a gauge, how are you going to know what a 1/4” increase in pressure is? I’ve used a cheap pump and hurt myself with it. You may want to rethink using a pump without a gauge.

No what I mean by 1/4 increment is the length of the penis, not the pressure increment. I will mark 1/4 inch marks on the tube, since my erect length is almost 8” my first pump session will be for 8 1/4” length and this will continue for one week, and the nexy week I will pump it up to 8 1/2” length, so I will increase my length slowly in parallel to slow increase in the pressure. It sounds logical, but I hope it works :)

Thanks for the explaination. Just be careful. You don’t want to knock yourself out of commission from pumping at too high a pressure.

First pump I bought in 1989 had no gauge and I’ve had no problem with my dick that I can discern…problems typically associated with over pressure…discoloration, blisters. I just listen to my dick.

Benefit of pumping without a gauge..you can pump “wet”.

You can listen to your dick to help you determine safe pressure but that doesn’t mean you won’t accidentally overdue it even if you are carefull.

Ask your self this is 39.95 (cost of a pump with guage) worth it to prevent just one nasty blister on your dick?

Why ever would I want to spend $39.95 when I have a perfectly good pump.

I’ve been pumping regularly for ~4 yrs and it would seem that I I was going to pump “over pressure” I would have done so already.

I do not like traditional lubes and I use shave cream. I rinse cylinder out about every two weeks…by then shave cream has begun to foam up and bled into line…I just put line in water and pump water through line and pump. You cannot do that if you have a pump with a gauge.

BTW, shave cream has antimicrobial properties so, microbial growth in cylinder(s) over two weeks time is a non issue IMO. I was a professional microbioligist/virologist so I have some understanding of what is safe/unsafe with regards to cylinder environment.
