From what I have read many people who pump say that the “pump” or increase in size is temporary, so is pumping a good thing to do to gain permanent size, also does pumping increase length and girth?

If it didn’t, trust me, we wouldn’t bother.

I think pumping does have it’s place in PE.

When I first started PE, my sessions included jelqing for 45-60 minutes, then I pumped for 1 hour (15 minutes pressure, 1 minute off). I believe the pump session (after jelq) pulled more blood into the damaged tissues and increased my gains. I gains about 1.5” in length that year.

One year I did nothing else but jelq. I gained 1” in length during that time.

I’ll agree that pumping (on it’s own) does not lead to permanent gains. It sure is fun though!

Sal this is a very split camp on what it does. I believe that it does work and the majority of the nay sayers were people that applied the wrong methodolgy and perhaps had the shittiest of one handed magazine ‘s ads for pumps. A $12 pump isn’t going to deliver the goods. This forum is full of good stuff about pumping including who has the best pump for the price and such. I also think that pumping is believed to be more of a gay thing for some. I don’t subscribe to this at all, but have yet to get a pump myself.

The history of pumping is reponsible for much of the bad rapp pumping has received. The emphasis was placed on the extremists of pumping who, as I think Thunder put it, “look like they just came out of a bread-making machine.” In less time than they take to create that, you can come out with a fully-functional and well-proportioned dick.

I honestly can’t tell you from experience if pumping gains are permanent or they are not. On the other hand, I can’t tell you either if gains from manual exercises or hanging are permanent. We just don’t have enough data in PE yet to know for sure.

But indications are that some of those men who stop PE for very long periods of time (say a year) either lose a small percentage of their gain or they lose none.

To me the whole question is totally insignificant.

Fact: I have a much bigger dick today than I did two years ago. Fact: I will probably do some modified form of PE for as long as I am interested in sex - for two reasons: as insurance against losing any gains I’ve made and because I really enjoy PE and having a big dick.

Will I care when I am 65 or 79 years old? I have no idea. I do know, though, that every time I get a hard-on now there’s a lot more there than there used to be and I’m hanging heavy flaccid, too. That is plenty “permanent” enough for me.

And I’m glad, sal, that you did take the time to look into past posts to get some reassurance. Lots of good information is stored back there in Thunder history. We vets can’t everyday act as librarians for newbies. That is just too fucking tiresome for us. :-)

I think the gay notion came from all the pumping sites that have weirdos yet some decent information. Then hetro guys get freaked out by the silicone and bread box dudes and label it gay. I don’t agree with that at all. But see plenty of pissed of hetros when someone posted a link to monsternuts or whatever. Just calling it as I think other people see it and I hear them bitch to me.

Are you sure about this? I am straight can I still gain from pumping? If I switch to being gay, and do a load of pumping, then go back to being straight when I met my goals, will I keep my gains?

This is interesting, it reminds me of another old theory that used to be thrown around, which was you cant gain 4 or more inches from hanging unless you wear womens underwear while you do it. I never tested that theory.
