I am so looking forward to throwing my my plastic toy pump in the trash !

Don’t forget to heed the warning in the operating instructions to keep bystanders, children, and visitors away while operating the pump.

Received another e-mail coupon from HFT to get the bleeder/vacuum pump for $17.98/

hey warren is there any kind of coupon code? it still shows up as 29.99 for me on their website.

I read the coupon and, unfortunately, it says for in store purchase only. Go on line and see if there is a store near you. If so, send me a PM and I will try to e-mail it to you. Coupons also show up in “AutoWeek” (not this week though, and are only good for in store purchases). Again, if you have a store near you, you may want to check other auto mags.

About to get into the pumping scene and just went to picture brite and placed an order..

P131 - Jim Diamond Pump w/gauge
P127 - Jim Diamond 1 3/4 inch cylinder

Grand total after shipping and everything ended up being around 65 or 70.I’m sure I might have been able to do a little cheaper but thats fine with me. I’m more concerned on getting a good quality pump and making some GAINS! Anyone, how did I do in your eyes?

You should have checked my other thread. He is selling the picturebrite pumps on ebay at a huge discount. I got my 1 3/4” cylinder for $10 bucks.

Never mind, it looks like he is not selling the pumps on ebay anymore. Strange because I just bought mine last Friday - it hasn’t even arrived in the mail yet. I am hoping it is good quality, but I have heard mixed reviews about the Picturebrite/ Jim Diamond products…

Well that kind of sucks. (No pun)

I tried to do a lot of research and it was actually hard to find a solid answer to what pump to buy for a newbie at pumping. I only saw good reviews coming from picturebrite and I gotta say it was the easiest to realize I was getting the “whole package” to where it will be good to go out of the box ya know.

Do those little attachments pictured on the HF website (the little black pieces), connect directly to the male fitting on the tube? I can’t see how those work with my current setup, because the female end of the tubing on my pump looks completely different than the nipple or connector on theirs.

No they don’t.

So is the outside diameter of the HF nipple thing, the right size to just fit (you just slide it on, and the nipple is tapered) into a standard diameter air tube with no need for a coupler or any extra part? That is how my current “cheap plastic pump” works.

So I listed a couple of posts prior in this thread about my purchase from picturebrite and later recieved a call that they are out of the 1 3/4” cylinders and have discontinued them.

I went ahead and went with the 2”, will this be a problem with my small girth?? (4.75).I am about 1.6” wide, I’m lacking in the cs department and I’m more focused on girth that length when it comes to pumping.

Should I try and get a 1 3/4” from somewhere else or just stick with the 2”?
