Lap pump = harbor freight tools pump

I’m a newbie to TP and to PE, so I just want to say I’m glad there is a place like this for guys like me. After hours of reading my head is hurting but I’m amazed at the intelligence and ingenuity of the members of this forum. I’m not one of them though, so I would just like to thank everyone in advance for their hard work and their support of other TP members like myself.

I’ve just recently purchased, or in the process of purchasing the:

Any input would be appreciated and I’m curious as to if I need both male and female fittings. I’ve looked on many threads but still can’t ascertain if they are necessary with the purchase of a gravel cleaner.

After more searching I came across this and now believe I do not need to order from McMaster-Carr, leaving my total cost @ approx. $39.00-$43.00 depending on the cost of the Pastidip.

Anyway, I was always under the impression that pumping was bad for the penis, and it could cause a lot of problems? Does it actually help increase size? Or does it just help your erection quality?

So I placed an order for the pump with Harbor Freight and it is currently back-ordered (most likely due to this thread, right? ;) )

Did anyone else encounter this when they made their order, and if so, how long did it take for the item to come back in stock?

If it’s going to take a few weeks then I may just cough up a few extra bucks and just order the MVAC1 with the Velseal I’m ordering.

Attention Canadians: the Harbor Freight pump is available in Canada from Princess Auto under the brand name Power Fist.

The name "Power Fist" never fails to amuse me.

Princess Auto has the pumps for $39.99 CAD (catalog p248 item#8050832), they also carry various barbs + couplers (catalog p138-139), pvc couplers (catalog p115), as well as tubing by the foot (catalog p117).

I replaced a poor home made which I won’t mention.

I got a fish tank cleaner, 2”x10” for 15 bucks. For a base gasket (as I didn’t want to suck a nut like my first experience) I went to the hardware store and bought a toilet flapper valve for 5 bucks.

I picked a soft flapper valve that only had an air pocket- no foam , if you really wanted to use it for is intended purpose. This got trimmed down so that the side was about1/2 inch high. The top, which now is the base against my crotch, got cut out to allow my penis entry and I trimmed off the ridges. This gave me a 1 3/4 inch base that held my penis tight for a good seal with a wide bottom to spread the load of the tube. The bottom of the tank cleaning tube fits right over it and will seal up no problem as my penis will stretch the width a bit. I can easily push in the base of the gasket for a quick release valve.

For the valve I just used an old one way valve from an old air mattress pump. It’s outer diameter tapered fit right into the top of the fish pump valve so not mods needed. I do not have a pressure valve but know what is too much and do not push it. I can get to the 8 1/4 inch mark I have sharpied onto the tube now.

Total cost 20 buck canadian. With some old bits.

Would buying a cylinder off lapdist or ebay + the above pump be sufficient?
That power fist kit (lol) seems to have tubing and everything so I’m not too sure what else I’d need

The link supplied by Lampwick will get you up to speed on pumping. Because we have just opened registration back up and some of the new guys are perusing this thread I will take the opportunity to address things from a newbie perspective.

Lots of guys find these forums while researching pumping to combat penis health problems. Used properly pumping can do wonders for erection quality if you are suffering problems in that area. It can also help in making your penis larger, once again, if used properly.

Make no mistake, you can break your penis. You can break it through pumping at dangerously high pressures. You can break it by hanging weights off of it incorrectly. You can blow the valves by clamping incorrectly. You can break your penis simply by pulling on it. Pretty much any of the things we do to get a bigger Johnson can mess you up for good if you are willing to skip the homework portion of PE. You can break your penis but it won’t break its self.

On the flip side, all of the things that we do to get larger can be done in complete safety. It is entirely up to you. Take the long view on PE and have a safety first mindset at all times. Do your homework before you do your PE. The second it feels wrong or painful… stop! Research these forums and when in doubt, ask. Have short term goals if you wish but have a long term, (as in years invested in PE), mind set.

I apologize for this brief thread hijack. Back to talking about how to get pumping supplies, particularly pumps, on the cheap.

So I was doing some research and most of you guys use the tube from a pet supply store. That is 2 inches in diameter. I would need a 1.75 cylinder. Now could I use the 2 inch diameter and just be careful not to suck a nut up in it? And also if I bought 2 inch, once I started gaining I wouldnt have to buy another tube…

Actually, most guys use tubes made for cock pumping. Check out the cylinder prices at picturebrite.com. The prices are very good and you get equipment that is ready to go, instead of having to be modified to make it work.
