LAPDist - unparalleled customer service
Guys, I just want to tell everyone the experience I had with Lapdist’s customer service.
A few days ago, I ordered a 1.75 inch cylinder and some lube from them. However, when my package came it contained a 2 inch instead. Now, by California law Lapdist announces on their site that there are no returns. I can understand how this is for health reasons, but still I felt I was possibly out $70. I sent an email to their orders address and eagerly awaited their reply. To my surprise, not an hour or two later they wrote me back and said that they we’re sorry for the mistake, and get this.. To keep the 2” cylinder while they sent me another 1.75 via USPS! Unfortunately, USPS takes about 5 days to get from the west cost to the east coast and I was going to be away during the week. Thus, I sent another email expressing my gratitude and asking if I could paypal them some money to cover USPS Express mail shipping instead. I also left my phone number, in case they wanted to process it over the phone or didn’t utilize paypal.
At about 9pm, I got a call from Charles at Lapdist, who is perhaps one of the friendliest and most professional men I’ve dealt with in business over the internet. After giving him my info, he told me quite a few really interesting things about the way he does business - I was quite impressed that after more than 8 years, they have not had any unsatisfied or angry customers. If my present interaction with him was any example, I can see why. Lapdist is really a classy and professional operation, with a human factor that’s missing from most web businesses today.
Anyone having reservations about the quality, price, or customer service given to Lapdist’s pumps, fear not. These guys really impress me, and being a computer geek that spends time on the phone with ignorant people that could care less about the quality of their products or services, that’s hard to do
