Lapdist.com Pump Details

Hey Guys,

I am thinking about buying the deluxe pump and a cylinder off of lapdist.com. My question is (from those who have purchased it also) would it come in two boxes or all in one? Also, what would the boxes display (ie. Penis pump labeled on the box would not be very cool). Lastly, roughly what dimensions were the box(s) as in my small town this plays a large role in whether or not I will have to pay substantial additional charges. Thanks everyone! If all my questions are answered then I will be ordering one after I get home from work tonight! So excited!

Oh yeah, If anyone has the time, I was also curious about the actually size of the pump (I can figure out the cylinder pretty easily). Just because I will be having to transport it on the plane and will have to make sure it can fit in the bag I am shipping and not the carry-on (since the carry-on is x-rayed and I’d rather save the questions:) ). Thanks again.

Gimli:

I hope that you are looking at the deluxe package where the metal pump includes a gauge.

If that is the case, it is less than 12” ‘diagonally’ from the gauge to the outboard handle, less than 4” measured in the largest dimension perpendicular to that, and less than 1.25” thick.

Measured when it is ‘squared up’: 10” tall, 8” wide, and the same less-than-1.25” thick.

I hope that these measurements make sense to you.

There is, of course, also tubing.

The package should be labeled as exercise equipment.

Is that what they put on the customs form? As far as I remember, the box itself is just a plain old box.

Oh yes the box is just a plain box but it was labeled as exercise equipment on customs form.

Ok, much appreciated guys. I am trying to figure out if I can fit it into my golf bag :) . Lampwick, I am looking at the Deluxe package. Thanks again for your help.

Gimli,
You will certainly be able to fit it into your bag. As for the box, it is also labelled as containing GLASS (in large letters). Good luck!

Hey Gimli,

Harbor Freight currently has the high quality metal pumps for $17 and around 7-8 for shipping. I don’t know if they ship up north or if the savings is worth it to you but take a look.

Lap pump = harbor freight tools pump

Then you need to add in the male adapter from somewhere (the cylinder source or McMaster-Carr, part number 5012K251, but, yes, I too am a big advocate of the Harbor Freight pump as a way to save some money.

The money I saved was my ‘down payment’ on the next larger cylinder that successful pumping leads one to need eventually.

My box was labeled as VACUUM PUMP by the customs idiots.

Pump

Hi Gimli,

If you haven already bought the pump from lapdist, go to harborfreight.com and order the brake bleeding kit. The pump there is identical to the lapdist one, but is noly $25 (on sale last week for $16).

Then you only need to get the tube and some tubing.
