Looking to buy a pump?

I’m thinking of going into pumping, but I’m sure of what type I should buy. I know I want a manual pump with a gauge. What type and site do any vets recommend? Also how would I start a pampers newbie routine? For example: 2 day pump/1 day rest? And would I pump it up to a certain girth and length and just hold it for 5, 10, 15 minutes?

I use a Kaplan pump and am happy with that.

That looks like a good manual metal pump combined with a cheap cylinder. Any cylinder that uses one of those rubber booties is cheap and will not last long.

So do you pump for the full 10 mins.? And can you clamp one day and pump the next?

It looks like a better quality tube, but a plastic cheaper pump.

I bought a Kaplan pump from ebay from a place called eveshut. I think it was about 80 bucks, and I’ve been very happy with it.

Asking again so do you pump for the full 10 mins or do you just pump and hold the pressure for the full 10 mins?

You pump as required to maintain your target pressure for the length of time desired.

Also can up pump and clamp, like pump one day clamp the next?
