Making sure gauge is right?

Making sure gauge is right?

I have a hunch that my gauge reading may be wrong because I still feel a little pain at 2.5 HG at the base of the penis. On top of that, when I release the pressure, I have noticed that there is still a lot of suction when I get to 0 HG, probably another 1 or 1.5 HG worth. Does the latter phenomenon occur for anybody else? How can I be sure that the reading on my gauge is correct?

I have the harbor freight pump combined with the LA cylinder if that helps, both relatively new.

Starting stats: NBPEL:6.5 | MSEG:5.25 (around 3/1/2010)

Current stats: NBPEL:6.5 | MSEG:5.25 (around 3/1/2010)

Short-term goals NBPEL:7.25| MSEG: 5.65

I’ve noticed something slightly the opposite since I dropped my pump… my dial starts above the gauge now.

But look closely at the numbers on the gauge and You’ll find that there’s less notches from 0 to 5 then there is from 5 to 10. What’s up with that?

Interesting… Just to clarify, my dial starts and ends at 0 HG. However, there is still suction at 0 HG, as if there is still pressure, and I have to keep pressing the little knob to take the cylinder off.

Oh my dial starts at 0, but there’s less notches and distance between 0 to 5 than there is 5 to 10. I have reason to suspect that the gauge is built that way because of the likely hood of the spring based mechanism not actually touching down to 0hg if the gauge went down that far. It should really say 1hg though, not 0hg - it’s misleading otherwise.

Another thing is that if you pay attention to what you’re doing when you try removing your pump is that there’s still a seal and you’re creating more pressure. Try pulling your cylinder away from you when you’re at your regular 3-5 hg and watch the pressure raise. So even though you might have 0hg of pressure but still have a seal… you’ll create pressure by pulling the cylinder away.

Same problem on my harbor freight ever since I dropped it. I estimate the pressure based on how many pumps are required to move the dial (once it starts moving)
