Mmhg To Inhg

Mmhg To Inhg

Hello everyone, I have just brought a pump with a gauge but the only issue is the gauge is in inhg rather then Mmhg, Does anyone know the conversion rate as wherever I have looked across the forums it is in mmhg.

Thank you

We always discuss vacuum pressure levels in inHg. Dont exceed -5inHg. Some guys find -5inHg too much to start with. If you are one of them try -3 or -4 until you get conditioned to that vac level.

The few times we discuss mmHg is when someone’s gauge is set for it.

Google inHg to mmHg for a conversion.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Thank you 32quarters. So I should never exceed -5 or 5? So would I be aiming for 0.5 or am I getting myself muddled, I appreciate the reply and help.

The correct measurement for vacuum is a negative value as we are starting at 0 gauge pressure and then reducing, so -5inHg is proper. However we dont work for NASA and it’s easier to say 5inHg so that’s what we frequently do.

We recommend that newbie and even intermediate pumpers stay at 5inHg or less. Note that 5inHg is 127 mmHg. Getting to too high vac levels too quickly can lead to injuries like petechie and blisters and can also result in a toughened penis which resists any change. In that case you need a long decon break for the penis to get back to a more normal state which is more favorable to growth.

As a new pumper a common pump program is 5inHg for 3 min for a few days, then increase time to 5 min for a few days and so on.

Once you reach 10 min you could then do 5inHg for 10 min twice daily, then 5inHg for 15 min twice daily.

Always work in some down time, so you may want to start with 3 days on and 2 off, and perhaps going to 5/2 if everything feels good.

Always pay attention to your PI’s and watch for red dots (petechie) and blisters on the glans. Back off time and or vac level if you are regularly seeing them. Edema is when fluid builds up in the tissues of the skin which often shows up as a doughnut around the glans. It goes away in a few hours.

Edema is not necessarily bad, it is an indication of an inefficient pump program. Edema does not help with permanent growth of the penis. The objective on vacuum pumping is to reduce the pressure on the outside of the cc/cs so blood is drawn in, fills up the cc/cs and exerts outward pressure to stretch the cc/cs.

Edema does give a temporary increase in girth which is often called the post pump plump or similar. Some guys (I’m guilty) will take the edema induced added girth for some fun sex.

Too much edema and you have a thick spongy dick not necessarily beneficial to fun sex. There may be a hard dick somewhere in there, but it’s covered by a spongy mess. My wife hates it like this.

There is also a sub set of guys whose intent is to get as much edema buldup as they can, and will pump all day to get it. I do not think permanent growth is their objective, but I do not know.

IMPORTANT NOTE
If you are new to pumping be advised to be careful when you urinate soon after pumping. It is very common for the urethra to temporarily swell up and when it does your urine will spray everywhere. Let me say that again: everywhere. I just sit and push my dick down to make sure it gets in the bowl.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

And if 5inHg is too much for you at the start, start with 3 (76) or 4 (100mmHg), then work up.

To keep it simple: 1 in = 25,4 mm
with or without HG :)

32quarters has already said everything else about it

Thank you for the advice I will definitely follow it, I pumped for 5 minutes last night at low pressure, if felt good and no pain, the only thing that I struggled with was even after pressing the release valve I couldn’t get out of it, do you have to wait inside until you go flaccid usually?

Not necessarily. I always lube up with coconut oil before going in which makes entry and exit easier. You can also tilt the tube to break the seal at the base for quicker re pressurization and faster exit.

We also recommend adding constant heat to the tube while pumping. There are multiple options for doing so. I use an electric heating pad.

Also be cautious in washing your tube. Alcohol and other harsh chemicals can degrade the plastic leading to cracks and failure. Soap and water is sufficient.

Hi I am using leluv 1.75 inch cylinder. The pressure 5hg is not giving me enough expansion i feel. I was in PE almost consistent since 3 years with manual stretches and jelqing. Two months before I started pumping and may be because of the enough condition with jelqing, 5 mmhg is not enough to make good expansion…I tried 6 -7 mmhg and it seems okay for me. Anyone using more than 5hg pressure during the pumping? I always atretch for few mins and jelqs 5 mins, the pumping for 20 mins - every 5 minutes 30 seconds break. Any suggestions.

Thanks

Please confirm the measurement units on your gauge. Is it inHg or mmHg? If inHg the largest number is 30. If mmHg the largest number is 760.

We recommend to not exceed 5inHg which is equal to 127 mmHg.

I would be a little careful with heat when pumping. This can lead to severe discoloration. Therefore, I would not recommend this in general, everyone should find out for themselves whether he can cope with heat. I certainly don’t.

By the way, I use talc-free baby powder instead of oil. This makes less of a mess, but still glides sufficiently well and reduces any fluid buildup.

Just multiply inhg by 25.4 to get mmhg.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Conversion is the same as length conversion.

I have an app for unit conversions to make life easy, in general.

5” is 127mm, just for a point of reference.

Same as you.
From the first day I started pumping 5inhg wasn’t enough for my penis. Its was equal to 80%-85% erection.
I’m pumping at around 6.5inhg with some jumps to 7-7.5 to feel fully erected.
The only problem I had so far is I got edema twice and its was because I didn’t do low pressure warm up and jump into 5+ inhg in a second since then no blisters no edema no discoloration.

I have never read that heat causes discoloration. Maybe that’s the culprit. Everywhere I have read it says to use constant heat when pumping. When I think back on it I had no discoloration before heat. Thanks for the input Rocco25.
