I’m sure this question has been asked before. I’ve been very actively reading the Pumpers Forum for the past week. I haven’t seen anything yet about following a program like Gprents, Avocets or Firegoat but pumping twice a day morning and evening instead of just once.

Their method is low pressure 5 hg max for longer duration starting at around 2 to 3 hg and working up to that 5hg. I think Firegoat has said he pumps for about 15 minutes but 45 max and Gprent usually pumps for about 45. Last night was the first time using a pump and I loved it.

I have a 12x2 tube and I wanted to pump again this morning for another 30 minute session at low pressure but was wondering if it would be counter productive to pump to frequently. I still do lots of manual stretches just not as much as I used to. I wonder if there would be any downside to pump for long periods several times a day but usually only twice if there is no drop in EQ.

On a side note my tube has a ruler going the length of it. It’s stealing about a a quarter inch at the bottom because of the flange but still I notice that I only get to about 7.75 on the tube. The reason for the longer was because I have consistently measured over 8” bpel however when pumping I don’t quite there. Is this normal? Have other’s noticed anything similar and finally should I get a shorter tube? I don’t think the length of the tube is really a hindrance to gains.

The only thing I can answer on is morning and night pumping. If your conditioning is at the level required to handle that amount of time in the pump, certainly you could try it. It can not be recommended for a newbie.

I have pumped for a small time compared to the torch carries you mentioned earlier and I know that my penis wouldn’t be able to handle. Receiving injuries from pumping is very real and serious. The physics at work on your dick whilst in the pump is not something you want to radically expose yourself to. The only way I think it could be truly counterproductive is injuring yourself.
Do you have the time to do that much pumping? Not many people can enjoy the luxury of affording 45 minutes to pumping in a day, let alone do that twice. Including warming up, jelqing to erection level high enough to enter the pump, cooldowns, and showering/cleaning off you are looking at maybe an hour just for one session. Then to do that twice? That is a lot of time in one’s day.

I’ll let some others with more knowledge about cylinder size answer your questions. Good luck with your gains and feel free to comment back on anything I said.

Thanks PatientlyGrowing. As far as time goes I do have that luxury now. I don’t know if it will always be the case but if I have it now I would like to be able to use it. I really don’t know what the medium to long term effects of pumping are going to be for me yet so I’m asking I guess more to see if anyone else has done anything else like that and if it has worked out for them. The first time I ever tried pumping for PE was last night and it was pretty basic. A 30 minutes session increasing the pressure from 3hg to 5hg by 1hg every ten minutes. So my experience with pumping is almost zero. I had the cylinder wrapped in a heating pad the whole time. Its a really easy way to add continuous heat. I had very little edema after I was done frankly almost none whatsoever. EQ is still strong like bull.

My main concern besides making gains is avoiding injury and preventing discoloration.

As you’re just starting, ease into it. I took some time to figure out I can pump daily if I keep it short. Usually 10-15 minutes total, with a short break every five minutes. Every other day I’ll do 50 jelqs after, but more than that gives me poor eq until I take a break.

Start with your routine and see how it is after two weeks. If everything is good, split your session into a morning and evening, and then increase the time from there.

I was well conditioned when I started pumping. I started doing 20 minutes in the morning and again at night. It coincided with my normal bathroom routine so I was able to do it for quite a while before I let my wife in on the fact I was pumping. I subsequently switched over to Avocet8’s pumping for ED routine - 30 minutes at night and 30 minutes in the morning. I followed the double pumping sessions for at least two years and gained about 1/2 inch in girth.

Last night was day 2 of pumping. Again I only pumped for about 30 minutes never exceeds 5hg so far EQ still seem great. I might give it a go with the twice a day pumping. dt I haven’t read Avocets pumping for ed but I’ll take a look at it even though I don’t have ed it might have some good pointers. I’ve been pumping for a few years now. Started off with a terrible $15 pump that had no gage. I used that one for 2 years without having any idea what I was doing, but I think that is what conditioned me.

I then bought a bath mate, and after that, a real pump from LA pump.

I would agree with you that something strange happens in the tuge that effects your size in there. I measure myself at 7.5 BPEL, and a solid 7 NBPEL and in the tube I’m somewhere around 6.5-7 … you would think with a tight seal and a pump I’d be hitting near my BPEL, but for some reason that is not the case. My cylinder doesn’t have a ruler on it though, so my measurements aren’t 100% accurate. In the Bathmate I sit comfortably at the 170mm mark, or 6.69in .. still lower than my BPEL. Anyway - that’s just my two cents on that subject.

About pumping AM and PM … I think I should be doing that. At 5HP or below you should be fine so long as you don’t see any negative indicators.

When I pump, about 4 times a week, I usually do two sets of 15 minutes at about 5-7HP. The longest i’ve gone in one session is 20 minutes. I could go longer, but I get a little board. I may try a marathon session tonight.

Any experiences pumpers care to share any thoughts on the difference between, say, a 15 minute set and a 45 minute set? is it drastically better?

Have several questions.

- When you say you pumped 15, 20, or 30 minutes, how many times do you leave the tube to massage and recirculate during that session?
- What do you do during these breaks?
- How long outside of the tube approximately?
- Are you hard when you leave the tube?
- If yes, do you keep your hard on while on break or do you let it settle down?
- After the break, do you pump yourself back up or do you stimulate yourself back up first then resume pumping?

:) I just started back and I just do the 10 minutes a day. Love it though, sadly I lost the screw that connects to the hose thingy. So till then Pumping for me is off. :p

On night one I pumped for 30 minutes straight never exceeded 5HG. I milked the tube a little and kegeled like crazy to stay get fresh blood in.

On night two, which was last night, I did ten minutes sessions. Mainly because I was little drunk I had just come back from hanging out with some friends. Because of the alcohol the erection wasn’t as good as it should so I dropped the pressure came out semi erect worked back up to a full erection and pumped again for about ten minutes. All this is done with tube wrapped in a heating pad.

If I take breaks like last night I plan on stimulating myself to maintain an erection while out of the tube and to go back in fully erect. I plan on always going in the tube fully erect. That is the plan but I don’t know how it will go yet since I just begun pumping.

Haven’t seen too much results since I’m just getting back to it. The main thing I have noticed is my flaccid hang is better. Till I find the screw that goes to the tip of my cylinder, I’ll be using the free one I acquired. I do cock and balls with it. :)

Hey, NT. Can you explain a little more about the missing “screw.” Are you talking about a regular male connector? A connector can be replaced for under $5 (including shipping) at McMaster and Karr.

I think it’s the Female one. It screws into the tip and I commect the pump there.
