My new Mityvac Pump

I went and made the famous Mityvac pump tonight. Assembly was easy and I seem to get a great seal. My only problem is whenever I pump it up to 5 GHz, the needle stays at 5 for about 30 secs, then it slowly goes down to 2 or 3 and stays there. The pressure does not seem to change though, at least from what I can feel. I was wondering if this means that the pressure is actually decreasing, or is the needle just going down? I don’t want to “pump back up to 5” if I am really making it like 10 or something.

Wow, 5 gigahertz! That’s one hell of a pump! I never thought of using electromagnetic wave frequencies to pump up my dick!

Anyway, I think it is leaking down a little bit and 2 or 3 hg’s is not enough for it to leak through anymore. From reading on here it seems that the culprit usually is the connection where the tube meets the hose. Make sure that is a good seal.

Yeah man, electromagnetic waves are all the rage now in the cock pumping world. You need to catch up with everybody Gut. Lol Just joking, sometimes I am a little cixelsyd.

Anyways have you tries this pump? Does anyone know how to fix the seal between the hose and the cylinder?

What cylinder are you using. Are you using the fish tank one? I started with that but it collapsed when I wrapped a heating blanket around it and softened it. When I had it though, I put some caulk (ironically) around the hose and sealed it up. That seemed to work good.

After that one broke, I went down to the local sex shop and bought a better one. Much thicker plastic and then used the pump I got from Harbor Freight. It held it’s seal pretty good but just for precaution, I took some thread tape and wrapped it around the treads and screwed it back on (where the hose meets the tube).

Works great.

I have this same exact pump as you know. I believe you pm’d me with some questions and I showed you a picture of my setup. Anyways, I have no problems with creating a good seal on mine. I use Plastidip for more comfort at the base of the cylinder and thats about it. As far as the pressure decreasing, thats normal for me until I get 100% erect. Once I achieve a full erection everything is completely sealed and the needle stays on whatever pressure I pump up to.
