Need advice reg. Pump

Hi there!

I have been reading trough the Pumpers forum for quite a while now.

But I cannot post there (Not enough prive.) so therefor my question comes here.

Is this a penis pump worth the money?

It has a good pressure indicator which I can use with the Pumping 101 Thread.

I suggest you do a google search on nyhet pump master There are only a few hits to choose from but they seem to be cheaper if you look around.. As to their use and quality you might try a post in the Scandinavian thread where there may be Swedish members who have some knowledge of the pump

I don’t like the looks of the pump mechanism, or the hose, or especially the rubber booty on the end of the cylinder. I don’t think it would have a very long life. Find something better.

There are one or two ( maybe more) pump manufacturers in the UK, and some suppliers of American products. So a search for penis pumps in Google (switch it to UK) should give you a good idea of what’s available. Then you could perhaps ask members advice on your choice.

A pump with a pressure gauge is only half the story. You need to know how much negative pressure can it really achieve. For example, attaching a hand squeeze bulb to a gauge won’t make the bulb more effective — it is just a dirty marketing trick. Further, you really need to feel the material and see if it will last. You won’t believe how many poorly made pumps are out there and you’d be lucky if they last for more than a month or two.

The only way to do that is to try it, so always visit a sex store unless you know exactly which pump you need. All you need is to seal the cylinder end with your palm and start pumping, see how much negative pressure can it generate before you can pump no more.

Many stores have sample behind their counter, and if you ask nicely and clearly communicate your requirements, I trust they can find the perfect one for you.

Btw,what are the main points to go with?

1) It needs to have an indicator that shows the current pressure.
2) It needs to have an good pump handle
3)It needs to be worth the money and be expensive because of an “P.HD” recommending it?
4)?

If a P:HD with a stethoscope dangling round his neck recommends it

- You better make sure the pump can achieve at least -10Hg pressure (you only need about -5Hg actually)
- One of the most important yet usually being overlooked component is the sealing ring. The ring fits onto the open end of the cylinder and you insert your penis into the cylinder through it. Make sure the pump you are going to buy comes with a ring that your penis can actually fit through! The last thing you want while pumping is to have that ring chock on the base of your shaft.
- I won’t be too worry about so-called “Ph.D/M.D.” recommendation — these are yet another dirty marketing trick.

I’m currently waiting for some answers from shops,but in the meantime I will quote this from the “Home made pump” thread at.

I was wondering what your thoughts are about Retention_head:s device? It would be much cheaper making a pump like he did than buying one from a sex shop,right or wrong? I’ve read all the threads about Home made pumps but I’m no expert in this field.

Never tried nor will I consider home made devices. Also, it’s such a pain to collect all the necessary components. If I really have to, I’d rather modify an existing pump — which I has yet to find a reason to. So no help on that area, sorry.

I bought a penis head pump which has exactly the same mechanism/hose etc. It broke very quickly after use, also the seal didn’t hold the pressure well. Needed to keep pumping to maintain an even pressure.

Later I purchased the quality velseal cylinder with a seperate brass brake bleeding kit (the pump) for more reliable (full penis) pumping.

The difference was a far more repliable, and superior pump, that actually does the job right.

So as far as the cheaper pumps go, stay away from them! It will cost you more in the end to replace them when they break!

The more advanced pumps also allow you to detatch the hose whilst maintaining pressure, which is helpful.
