Need Tube!

Hey guys,

Was just wondering if anyone out there might have a tube they no longer have any use for and would be interested in selling. I’m currently using the 2” gravel siphon but my base girth is making it difficult to get all the way in and I figured before I rush off to buy one from LA Pumps I’d check here first. I’m looking for one in the 2 1/4” - 2 1/2” x 10 - 12” range. I already checked e-bay to no avail so if anyone can help me out PM me and we’ll make a deal.

Hey AllPointsNorth—Go out and buy a Paintball storage tube—They’re 2.25. Use a brassm fitting from Home Depot and Gel Crazy Glue. Steve

Thanks for the response Steve. The storage tube looks like it will do the trick, unfortunately I will probably have to order one in. Do you have any idea what the typical length is?

Most of them are 9-10”. I believe you can get them at Wal-Mart. I drilled a 3/8” hole, used a threaded fitting with a 1/2” barb; put Gel Crazy glue and O-rings inside and outside of the tube and tightened a thin nut on the threaded side inside of the tube. I had to use two 3/8” extentions to reach the end of the tube. Not much of a project. Use silicon on the threads for a good seal. Works really great. I also use it for ball-Pumping. Unfortunately I stored it in a cold room and cracked the tube. Oh Well, back to the drawing board—Steve
