My original pumping gear I bought in 1989…cylinders had recessed inner walls. Never packed until I bought new cylinder from LAPD. Let it set on shelf unused for nine months because I had to lube my dick and I do not like traditional lubes.
Was perusing Phoenix5, a site for men with prostate cancer and their companions….. Try using shaving cream: Ray on using a VED
That was June 2001….began packing!!!!
I’ve posed this several times but I’ll review it again.
First, shave cream has antimicrobial active ingredients….when it dries on inner cylinder walls….it’s like dried soap. Therefore I only wash my cylinders out about every 4-6 weeks. I don’t use that much shave cream that my dick is obscured in the cylinder.
At beginning of each pump session I immerse my dick in fruit juice glass of warm water…..this wets my head/shaft. Then I apply minimal amount of shave cream to my head/shaft/base. Ramping up to my 2 x 9” cylinder….wetting my middle finger ….I wet inner cylinder wall as far as my finger will reach… Usually amount of shave cream on my dick from 1 3//4 x 9” cylinder is sufficient for a seal to be formed between my dick base and 2 x 9” cylinder wall.
Having been trained as a microbiologist/virologist and a practicing bench scientist for many years, I have some understanding of what is safe for me. I’ve never had urethral infections or infections on shaft of my dick.
I like Gillette Foamy…it comes in different formulations…Aloe & Allantoin, Regular, etc. Most likely the shave cream has a moisturizing ingredient…..so surface of my dick is not dried out. A few times a year, Walgreen’s puts on sale 11 and 14.75 oz cans.
Just my experiences….
