New pump

So looking to get back into pumping and going with a thickwall starter kit 1.75 plus pump with gauge £83

Can I get away with a mustang off of ebay for £45, nearly half the price.

Will I be wasting money on an inferior product if I go with the mustang, or is there something cheaper still, that still includes a gauge that I can get decent results from.

Ideally as my girth aint great (4.75) I would like a 1.5 tube and a 1.75.

Any ideas much appreciated

I have never seen that stallion pump with a gauge, but it looks pretty good and the cylinder has quick disconnect connectors. You want to definitely get the pump with the gauge, and it that selection limits you to just 1 cylinder, get the 1.75”. The 1.5” would be too small for you.

If you plan on being a long time pumper, the Thickwall choice may have better durability, but again, I have no experience with the quality of the stallion.

Neither of the cylinders have a wide base rim. However, if you scroll down on the Thickwall site, you will see the Deluxe Flanged cylinder which had a wide base rim. This would be significantly more comfortable than the other two. The more comfortable the cylinder, the more likely you are to continue pumping.

Why is a flanged base better.

I have in the past used the silicone base supports that you get with the crappy pumps and find these very comfortable and somewhat useful as they provide some constriction at the base!

They Ship out from the UK right? I’m trying to order the starter kit too I just don’t Want to wait a lot I’m in the US, initially wanted to buy a hydroxtreme but it’s too much money for me to afford it somebody on the internet recomended the thickwall pumps said they’re solid effective and cheaper so I think I’m buying it, do you guys know if they can imprint a measurer on the cylinder? They come without it by default I see in all of the cylinders they have in the website.

I’ve got one of the Thickwall flanged base tubes… It’s decent!

I’m also looking for a good cylinder and pump to get me started without breaking bank. I would like to go for length though.

One more question I wanna gain both length and girth which cylinder should I go with I’m 7 BP and 5.25 girth I’m trying to aim at 7.5 BP and 6 girth as a short term goal it’s gonna be my first time pumping ever!

Get a 9”X2” cylinder.

The flanged edge reduces the “bite” into your fat pad. However, if the silicone base supports provide good comfort, go for it.

Out of interest.. What do you guys reckon of the mushroom cylinders..

Also seeing as the Thickwalls are custom made do you think its worth asking for an 8inch length tube rather than 9 inch, which I am never gonna reach 9inch length, just to have something thats a bit more convenient and compact?
