Have a question for the pumping veterans here.

I’m sticking with a 1.75” cylinder to focus on length, following the advice to pack the tube and let my unit expand lengthwise up the tube. I’m doing 5-minute sessions at 2inHg, and I do four of these sessions usually. Tonight I did six, for a total of 30-mins in vacuum. Always well-lubricated with Vitamin E oil, using a Thermedic FIR heating pad wrapped around the cylinder. My starting MSEG measurement was 5.5”, but I haven’t measured girth again since.

What I’m noticing is that my girth seems to be packing the tube so firmly that I can’t actually get full penetration into the tube 100% of the time. It seems like I may be getting wadded up a little in the tube, preventing me from reaching my full length in the tube. The feeling on my shaft is that it is extremely packed and when I kegel or flex blood into it I can feel it is fully expanded girthwise very firmly against the inner walls of the tube.

However, I never get any vertical expansion, lengthwise up the tube. The longest my unit ever is is when I first insert into the tube. Then as EQ fades slightly, I will see a length reduction of about half a centimeter. Not once has it grown in length under vacuum over time. No amount of milking or shaking the cylinder allows it to expand more lengthwise.

I’ve seen numerous pumpers on here post photos of their units expanding and growing to pack the length of the tube, almost like Jello. My unit does not do this at all, and does not seem to be Jello-y like this at all.

The only theory I have is that 2inHg is just not enough vacuum to produce this effect? And 5-minutes per session is not enough time to let the expansion happen?
Also, possibly, I should be doing this more flaccid? Currently entering the tube as erect as possible, and trying to maintain 100% throughout.

Yeah, it’s definitely the amount of vacuum.

2” isn’t very much.

Increase with caution, of course. But you probably won’t see much happen till around 5”Hg or so.

Bump it to 3” for a few days, watch for blisters on the glans. If everything looks OK, bump it to 4” and see how that works out. Once you get a “donut” behind the glans you are near your working limit. I prefer to avoid the donut if possible. After a few months you might try bumping up another 0.5” and see what happens. 4-6” is a common figure.

A 5-minute session is very short. 15 to 20 minutes seems to be common, but some pumpers can handle much longer times.

Flaccid or erect… a lot of people think erect is better, but you pump with what you have.

If you are so firmly packed that no movement lengthwise is feasible, it may be time to increase your cylinder size. Combining a larger cylinder with a silicon sleeve should help you limit girth expansion while encouraging length.


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Believe it’s due to the minimal amount of vacuum you’re using. The above advice is good on increasing time and vacuum slowly over time.

Personally, I would start a few minutes at 2 and then bump up to 3 for the next couple sessions. If all goes well with that then 2hg for a few minutes, 3hg for a few minutes, and then jump up to 4hg and so on.

I been staging with a 1.75 & 2”

I pack the 1.75 in 10min but 30-40 with the 2”. I’m stuck in between!

I get a much better pump & overall feel with the 1.75 @ 7-10 heavily oiled. 1/4” length this year. Plus I swear my gap behind the shaft seems to be filling in which is great!

I am experiencing something similar to this. With a 6” girth, packing the length of a 2” cylinder, I can pump comfortably up to 10hg (my normal level for the regular 2.25” cylinder is 4 to 5 hg).Like the original poster, I went for a narrower cylinder in order to pack it and hopefully stretch out some more length. Length in the narrower tube is no longer than it is in the 2.25” cylinder, but post-pump girth is noticeably plumper. I am finding a daily 20 minute session with 30 sec breaks (reducing pressure to 1 hg) every 5 minutes works best, i.e. no red spots or oedema, a plumper girth and raging night wood. I haven’t completely given up hope of getting some more length, but for now I’m enjoying this time-efficient routine and plumper girth and night wood.

Surprisingly, yes. The opposite of what I had expected since the objective was increased length.

To be clear that is not my case.
I have a little success in length with my tighter tube heavy lubed with about a 20minute session. Alot of edgeing & working pressure up n down makes the difference. I don’t bother taking a break just release to nothing & the fullness keeps the suction & allows new blood flow. 30-60 seconds then game on.

If I have the time (seldom do) staging is needed & makes all the difference.

Also to clarify the 7-10 hg was referring to blasting not sustained for more than a few minutes.
