Picturebrite Cylinders on Ebay for $10

If anyone is thinking of buying a cylinder you might be interested in this:

He is also selling the split tubes with 2 male connectors for 6.75.

So including shipping, I just paid $24 bucks for a cylinder and two quick disconnectors. I figure for that price you can’t go wrong.

I plan on water pumping without the pump. I may pick up a Freight Harbor pump though.

Wow never mind. I ordered a 1 3/4” cylinder last thursday and got an email telling me it was shipped on Friday. Now I just got an email from picturebrite saying they are out of the 1 3/4” cylinders. Unbelievable.

Yes I recieved that news too, where are you looking at getting your 1 3/4” now?

I ordered from their normal website. The gist of my thread is that they sent me equipment that appeared to be used (gross), along with the wrong size cylinder. At least they accepted my product return and refunded me.

I would recommend ordering from any of the other reputable pump sites frequently cited around here (LA Pump, Boston Pump, etc.).

Guess this is a case of “you get what you pay for.”

Well I read through para’s whole thread and damn, wish I saw that earlier. Everything is already being shipped but I guess I will have to just wait and see how it turns out.

I will let you guys know here in a a week or so if they are a reputable company still.

yea para you are right - picturebrite is shit.

I ordered my cylinder and connector hose on Thursday and they didn’t even tell me it was out of stock until yesterday. Then today they finally gave me a PARTIAL refund - only for the cylinder not the connector hose.

I emailed them and told them that a hose was worthless without a cylinder in case they were too dumb to figure that out. Still haven’t heard back from them, so now I can’t even order another cylinder & hose since I have to wait and see if they are going to give me my money back.

It looks like it is the shape of my dick and it is much cheaper than an LAPdist cylinder. Do you think the connectors on this cylinder work with the standard male/female quick connects?

I saw that one as well and would like to know what some of the experienced pumpers think of this.

That’s a real shame. When I’ve dealt with Picturebrite in the past, they’ve been great, but it sounds like recently they’ve been screwing up.

Selling something that’s actually not available is against eBay’s selling policies, so you should make sure that you leave explanatory negative feedback for the auction as a warning to others. It may be an honest mistake, but it’s up to the seller to make sure they actually have the item that they are offering.

Sorry you had a bad experience. It sucks when you’re looking forward to something and then you don’t get it.

Package arrived, and that would be a big negative. I’m no expert on this stuff but is it normal for everything (the pump, the cylinder, and the hose) to all smell like gasoline/motor oil.just like someone mentioned prior. Also the cylinder seems to be used like mentioned earlier.this is bullshit and I would like everyone to know, do not buy from picturebrite.

Demand a refund. If they want their product back, mack them pay for the postage too. If they get crappy about a refund, contact eBay.
