Pumping and IPR

Does anyone have any thoughts about the use of IPR and pumping??? I was thinking that with consistent low Hg pumping that should be followed would act as a form of active rest, or at least something along the lines of an ADC where you attempt to keep a certain size for a period of time.

The reason I bring this up is because I’ve been thinking of going back into pumping full time with clamping as my manual work between sets, for 5-10 minutes sets double clamped. Does anyone have any experience with pumping and clamping? More importantly what have the experiences been with 2-3 days of rest while pumping? This is more for a comparison than for help, and any and all is appreciated.

This sounds really interesting.

I”d love to see and hear of some routines involving IPR and pumping (and maybe even a little clamping thrown in as well).

I had this idea after reading through that thread originally. I thought if you could ADC why couldn’t you pump for 2-3 sets at low Hg for 5 minute sets. Does this sound reasonable? I’ve been thinking about this as far as Avocet8 and some of the big gainers, from pumping, are concerned it seems with this idea you’d pump at low level Hg with some light jelqing in between sets everyday, and this would promote growth but not cause anymore damage, but allow for a gradual increase. This seems to me what pumping does on the whole as a routine, but what if you wanted to use it as a substitute for ADC?

If I skip pumping for one full day, the next day I must do it really lightly or my skin will get sore. I usually pump twice a day and when I take a break I go for one or two weeks. In my experience, permanent growth fron pumping is very moderate and mostly in the girth department.

Did you ever incorporate any other PE exercises into your pumping sessions (i.e., jelqing, stretches, squeezes) or did you just pump?

I recently added jelqing, hanging and ADS, so far I’ve only got a lot of fatigue…

Recently while not applying the IPR theory completely I’ve been sure to take 2-3 days rest between my pumping sessions, and I’ve noticed drastic improvement in the quality of my sessions. I’m prepared mentally for each session, and looking forward to it, and I’m also starting to see an increase in length as well as a bit in girth. I’ll know more about numbers in about 4-6 weeks, just to give this time to see if just resting is enough to get gaining again.
