Pumping Question.

I can’t seem to really get any sort of expansion with anything under 5hg of vacuum . I have to be closer to 10hg or higher to get a good result. Is this normal ?

What kind of cylinder are you using? I recently found my old Vacutech pump kit which I bought over a decade ago, and came with a thickwall cylinder. I tried using it last night, and the amount of expansion I got was absolutely insane! You see with thickwall cylinders, the diameter is uniform from the opening to the top.

With my previous cylinder which was tapered, the opening and base would be larger and would become narrower as you get to the top. I honestly didn’t even notice that it was tapered as it was so subtle.

But I’m glad I found my thickwall cylinder as it will allow my glans and midsection to expand significantly more compared to my tapered cylinder which was starting to squeeze my glans and limited the growth of my midsection.

I don’t know which kind since my wife got it for me about a year ago. It’s thick walled and is about a 2inch in er diameter all the way up and is about 9 inches long.

OK so you already got the good kind of cylinder. My recommendation then is to make sure you have a proper seal (shave or trim your pubes and press the cylinder as deep into your pubis as possible without discomfort), and also that you’re as erect as possible when pumping. Being erect increases the expansion, and minimizes lymphatic fluid build up. Obviously you can’t be at 100% erect mode the entire duration, but I find that I’m able to maintain about 75-85% erection with strong spikes to 95 and 100% fairly easily by watching porn when I’m pumping and kegeling.

Try those two things if you haven’t already and your expansion should increase.

Also, you could try a heating pad. Many guys on here that pump swear by using a heating pad in conjunction with pumping to aid in expansion and mitigate lymphatic build up.

I have a question that maybe answered already but I couldn’t find it. So when I pump I will be come erect but I never actually get that “pumped” look like so many other men get. Even my glans doesn’t get the pumped look or feel. Why is that ?

I don’t know why, maybe try kegeling while pumping. That’s what I do. Also ballooning will expand the glans.

Try higher vacuum levels for longer periods of time.

A couple of thoughts:

Sometimes when you get pumped, the pressure will clamp off the blood flow coming in keeping it from plumping. Try releasing the pressure and going back to pressure a few times. I found that will let things internally move around and let blood flow in.

Also one weird thing I found. When I pump and get erect in the chamber, it is almost like my cock doesn’t know it is erect. A natural erection comes from a nitric oxide release which relaxes some internal structures letting blood in. When I force blood it by pumping, my theory is that my internal structures haven’t naturally relaxed. So after getting erect in the tube, try something that would normally get you hard. I have a video of my wife giving me head. With a full “pumped” erection, when I watch the video, I can feel a tingling in my cock as the natural erection process takes over. I guess it is the N.O. Release. Suddenly my cock starts to balloon up in the tube.

I get it when I water pump with cylinder and gauge. I think you need to do that.
