Yes sounds like a good idea. It feels natural to take days to let it rest. I guess the dick needs to rest like everything else, even if the routine is only pumping.

I am jealous of you guys that get sore from PE exercises my dick is pretty resistant I can say it has never been sore. Even after long pumping sessions I did not feel “worked” So I think depending on how much you pump a day, you can do it everyday. You rest for at least 12 hours anyway throughout the night and then work the next day!

I also do not feel much like I was tired with the penis but I think maybe a rest will not hurt.

Normally the time to sleep and wake up is my rest, about eight to 10 hours per day.

I believe that diet and genetics have to do with it or even testosterone levels .

The sore part is a symptom of fatigue that some people get, but IA you don’t really need that. If you are holding fatigue from pumping, eventually it’ll get to the point where your penis will shrink somewhat (length and/or girth). Before that of course, you might be sore, be carrying lymph fluid (good way to measure recovery there!), have short-term discoloration, etc. You must see fatigue build up if you are pe’ing correctly and monitoring well, otherwise you are really shooting in the dark with your workouts.

To the thread starter, I think that depends on the amount of fatigue you incur in your time frames between workouts and your recovery rate. If you aren’t recovering fully between each work out then fatigue will build up to some degree (I don’t think its linear) over the course of several workouts and then you will need a separate break to get rid of that carried fatigue, otherwise more symptoms will arise and then you will likely incur an injury, or at least work at below optimal levels.

Asking about rest days is really asking whether workout frequency and rest gaps should be uniform or not, or even more specifically, it is asking whether one should enter workouts with carried fatigue - whether fatigue should be build up over time before being released, or be released more continuously.

EQ is the best indicator to determine rest days.

Also when I was forced to take a week or so off due to work or vacation coming back from those and measuring to find i gained and not lost during the break was good proof to me that rest days are needed.

If EQ is not suffering I would go two to three months and take a 5 to 7 day break.

Yes, that’s the one. I’ve been following this routine for a few weeks and it has given fresh impetus to my pumping. Night wood is frequent and rock hard, so that alone is good enough reward. I haven’t gained anything in years so I really just pump now for pleasure; but I still hold faint hopes of finding that silver bullet that will give me just a little bit more.

The first month I was sore, but that stopped and I also started to notice improved morning wood.

I always pump before I fuck. My wife likes the feel of my pumped dick. If I want to take a rest, it is on a day she is not in the mood.
