Corpus Spongiosum: Has Yours Grown from PE?

This thread is a poll. Please select an option and add a reply answering the questions below if you have time.

Introduction

Over my time PE’ing, I have gradually developed the belief that different parts of the penis may react differently to girth exercises. More specifically, I developed the suspicion that major girth gainers were gaining primarily on their corpus spongiosum (CS).

I believe gains in the CS are more likely to be noted both during sex and during the measurement of girth. With sex, when females contract their BC muscles (kegel), their vaginas contract vertically (on the penis depth, not width), such that a deeper penis may fit better. When measuring, the CS protrudes from the underside of the penis such that mass on it causes a greater gain in circumference than mass on the CC (as the penis is not circular and the CS protrudes from it).

The CS is also the part of the penis most affected by kegeling and the last to become fully erect during arousal (for some men, it only becomes so near the PONR). As such, it makes sense that cable clamps would be particularly good for girth work (as they leave the CS less constricts so blood can be kegeled to cause expansion) and that only fully erect pumping would be useful for girth work (as only during that time is the CS well expanded). In fact, the pumping routine that I have found most successful for myself (as many other members have, including sta-kool) is one involving being fully erect (through milking the cylinder) and kegeling throughout the short session. These are only some of the reasons that I believe a closer examination of gains in the CS could be useful.

Questions

1) If you have made girth gains, have you noticed considerable gains in the CS?

2) What girth exercises have you used and gained most from?

2) Do you make a point of kegeling while working on girth? Do you think this may have been associated with gains?

3) Is most of your girth work done while fully erect?

4) Have you noted gains in your glans also?

5) Has your CS grown uniformly? That is to say, is the base area of your CS thicker than the rest?

Thank you for your help.

Here are my answers:

1) Not really. Hard to tell with 100% certainty, before pics from all angles would be needed for that;
2) basically, dry jelqs are the most effective exercises for not temporary girth gains for me;
3) I don’t make a point, but anyway I Kegel’ - it is just a spontaneous thing, I think it helps with gains.
4) Not fully, at about 60% is the most productive for me.
5) Yes, but less than in the shaft I think;
6) the CS at the base are less thicker than the rest. The CS is more prominent at about 2/3 of the shaft for me.

(There is a mistake in the list, two # 2) questions)

1.) I believe so. Mine is definitely the area that gains girth before the CC’s, however I measured the width of those recently and was actually shocked as they had grown as well.

2.)Yes I did that while clamping, pumping, and occasionally while hanging or in my ADS to restore blood.

3.)Not really, I think it is best when it is more pliable.

4.)my glans has a much stronger ridge or hook at the bottom of it now “a flare” out so to speak.

5.)the base of the CS should be thicker on just about everyone I believe, looking at the anatomy I believe it has to taper at about 2/3 of the way up.

1) If you have made girth gains, have you noticed considerable gains in the CS?

Yes. CC’s have grown as well.

2) What girth exercises have you used and gained most from?

Pumping, possibly manual squeezes, possibly long duration edging (45 mins to an hour)

2) Do you make a point of kegeling while working on girth? Do you think this may have been associated with gains?

When I was gaining, I was kegeling during girth work. I do think it was associated with gains. I also did kegels during long duration edging.

3) Is most of your girth work done while fully erect?

It varies. But for the most part, erect.

4) Have you noted gains in your glans also?

Yes. Some length and more flare. Those gains came when I was actively doing sadsak heads. Also involves kegeling.

5) Has your CS grown uniformly? That is to say, is the base area of your CS thicker than the rest?

Yes, in general.

Factory issued penis is tapered from base to tip. Tree trunk shape. I look thicker in side view than top down view. Still am shaped that way but bigger. However there used to be a very sharp taper in side view from circ scar to right below glans. The taper there is more gentle.

Iron or Sta, one of you forgot to vote.

Thanks marinera. Could a mod (or sta) change the numbering in the initial post to make replying easier?

Thanks for your reply. Although I have never seriously practised jelqing, I had a feeling that it may be responsible for some CC gains because it applies pressure on the CC (at the sides) throughout. When you jelq, do you stay away from squeezing the CS side, because of its vulnerability?

The low glans and CS gains and high CC gains are the opposite of mine. I am likely one of the only members that did not jelq frequently, I hope that if others exist they may chime in.

Did you have your deep, protruding CS shape before PE, such that your shape has stayed somewhat similar after? Do you think your CS could have gained girth from hanging?

Very encouraging for my hypothesis - you even kegel with your ADS on! I also have the protruding connection below my glans and believe sta-kool describes it as well.

Regarding (5), interestingly, while I believe most people have a maximum flaring out point 2/3 down, as described by marinera, some people (such as myself) have a maximum flaring out point at the base itself. Also, when not flexing the BC muscles (kegeling), your CS may protrude differently, in a notable fashion. Thanks for your post IA!

Thanks so much sta-kool. I do think edging may be useful for girth work also, but haven’t figured out exactly how it ties in. I too did a lot of edging throughout my girth phase. So kegeling helped with CS and glans gains and both came through expansion (pumping and squeezing) primarily - great info.

Regarding the change of the taper, I think that is due to pumping and have experienced it also.

(As a side note, I also grew glans height - very noticeably. I have always found just how much it grew peculiar).

Yes, or a bit reformulated, I try to avoid pushing on the urethra.

I wonder if this would really be a cause, as the purpose of cable clamps is supposedly to leave the CS lose and aid kegeling. I assume that that jelqing position must do the same.

1) If you have made girth gains, have you noticed considerable gains in the CS?
Yes. Before I started it was unnoticeable on my shaft and now it protrudes a great deal. Nice and round too, I like it.
2) What girth exercises have you used and gained most from?
At this point only clamping
2) Do you make a point of kegeling while working on girth? Do you think this may have been associated with gains?
Constantly kegel while clamped. I dunno but it seems people who don’t do it don’t have my gains
3) Is most of your girth work done while fully erect?
Always 100% erect or as close to it as I can get. And I keep that erection for the duration
4) Have you noted gains in your glans also?
YES. It is quite a bit bigger and the skin is stretched smooth now.
5) Has your CS grown uniformly? That is to say, is the base area of your CS thicker than the rest?
The base right near the clamp is definitely much bigger around, the result is a tree trunk effect.

To be honest I prefer it this way. I couldn’t be happier with the changes I have seen.

Thanks for your post! How long have you been clamping and how much have you gained? Just to make sure its a real gain and not a mixture of temporary expansion and strong BC muscles.

The only gains I’ve had so far are in the CS and at the base.

This has been from fully erect pumping in a tube that allowed room for expansion in all directions, ( I recently started using an elliptical tube that prohibits CS expansion and seems to focus it on the CCs, I think I’m seeing some width gains at the base now ).

I never really do many kegels.

Think the glans has grown a bit but hard to be sure.

1 and a half years. I have gone from about 5” mid shaft girth to almost 6” while my base is a little over 6.5”(no idea what it started as).

But like I said, when I started novice PE much longer ago than that my CS was completely smooth to my shaft. I couldn’t even see it and now I couldn’t miss it. I never took starting photos though so you just have to take my word for it.

1) If you have made girth gains, have you noticed considerable gains in the CS?

No more than the CCs.

2) What girth exercises have you used and gained most from?

I would say pumping, alternated with moderate stretches, jelks, at about 80 percent erect.

2) Do you make a point of kegeling while working on girth? Do you think this may have been associated with gains?

I have come to the conclusion that Kegels don’t do much (if anything) for size gain; however they do help a lot in ejaculation control.

3) Is most of your girth work done while fully erect?

No, except during pump sets. The manual exercises are done totally flaccid (stretches). Jelks at a state of engorgement that is very chubby but still bendable.

4) Have you noted gains in your glans also?

Yes.

5) Has your CS grown uniformly? That is to say, is the base area of your CS thicker than the rest?

Relatively speaking, base is still in the same ratio as before PE.

Just a note. It is disheartening to see guys come here, try some things for a month or 6 weeks, then quit. PE takes a dedication of time and a _regular_ routine. And, it doesn’t happen fast, usually. I worked for about 5 months before I got measurable, cemented gains. From then on things progressed real well.

PS: I’m curious. If one is measuring girth (say you get 5.0”), how do you tell how much of that is CC and how much CS?
