Q4L's 3 Year PE Anniversary - Still no gains to report

Q4L's 3 Year PE Anniversary - Still no gains to report

March 2008 marks my 3 year anniversary with PE. I started consistent PE with a measurement of 5.75 BPEL and 4.25 EG in March of 2005. As of March 2008, I have no gains to report. I’m 5’6”, 155 lbs, a very healthy eater, I workout 5-6 days a week with weights and HIIT running and am 25 years old. Like most Newbies, I had a vision in my mind, that after 3 years of dedication to the art of PE, I would have a cock that I would be proud of.

My Struggle

I found out about PE back in March of 2001. I paid for a membership to a pay site and started their “Beginner Workout.” After two months of not knowing how to perform the exercises properly and not seeing any gains, I gave up. I watched a lot of porn (and continue to do so) and always wanted a huge cock (or even one that’s just slightly above average). At this time, I concluded that PE was probably a scam, just like those enlargement pills. Yet, in the back of my mind, I kept thinking that there had to be a way to increase the size of my unit. Then, I found Thundersplace and thought I found the Holy Grail itself – thousands of guys obsessed and insecure with the size of their dicks (both big and small) AND they were proving that PE does work.

I have tried countless routines, devices and variations. I’ve tried the Newbie Routine, hanging (vacuum and the Bib), clamping (cable clamps, air clamp, adjustable cockrings), extenders, pumping, etc. I’ve tried dry jelqing, wet jelqing, Horse 440s, JAI stretches, inverted V stretches, Memento’s Rapid Gain Mechanism Routine, O-Bends, etc. I’ve tried IPR routines, the Peter Dick routine, less is more routines, more is more routines…EVERYTHING!

Day in and day out, I would read as much as I can about PE and what has worked for others. I received advice from some of PE’s best – remek, xenolith, kingpole, babbis, Pud, Monty530, sparkyx, ModestoMan, Peter Dick, Shiver, MX, Iguana, gprent, peforeal, Krowax, avocet8, mbuc, drilla9, Vincent Van Cock, Endow, Big Girth, memento, Bib and even YGuy. Although I have not attained any physical PE gains, I would still like to thank all these members (and other members whom I have forgotten) for their advice. I would see Newbies come and go, and members posting of what great gains they were getting. I would go through cycles of determination and cycles of depression. Whenever someone suggested something that I haven’t tried before, I would get excited thinking “This is it!! This will get me gains!” But after being consistent and following their advice, only to discover I hadn’t gained anything, I would slip back into depression. The depression seems to get worse and worse each time that I slip back into it. I don’t know how much more I can take – I can’t keep setting myself up for disappointment.

What I have learned

Although I didn’t gain anything physical from PE, I do feel that I have grown as a person. I have learned many things throughout my PE journey. The first is friendship. I feel glad to be part of a community (both Thunders and the PE Gym). I can’t think of any other place like them. It’s truly amazing to see that I am not alone in my insecurity about my size, my bouts of depression, etc. I feel honored to be part of this “secret” club. Everyday we put on masks, consciously or subconsciously, yet, here, I feel as though I can ALWAYS be myself. For this alone, I am truly grateful.

I have had the priviledge of seeing PE theories being developed and put to use. Bib’s LOT Theory, Big Girtha’s “Never Let It Turtle” Theory, Xenolith’s (with Shiver and MX) IPR Theory, remek’s Smooth Muscle Theory and countless others. I truly believe that one day we will develop this science of PE into a true artform, where everyone can achieve their desired goal.

I learned a lot about myself. For one, my total posts after 3 years is just under 1000. This is not to say that I don’t like to help others, but the majority of my time is consumed by reading posts, both old and new, over and over again. I feel as though I have a wealth of PE knowledge loaded in my brain – I guess I should focus on application a little bit better so that I can put it to use and get some gains myself! Secondly, I didn’t realize how much dedication and tenacity I had. Usually, if I’m not good at something, I give up quite easily. I usually lose interest in things after about a month or so, especially if I don’t see results (keep in mind that PE is the exception – I have been on PE routines that have lasted longer than 3 months). I guess this tells you how badly I want PE gains.

My Plea

My brain is on PE overload. I’m depressed and I’m…tired. I created this thread for a couple of reasons. For one, I wanted to ensure Newbies that although I haven’t gained, that PE is REAL. Secondly, I need advice and encouragement. I think I’m reaching rock bottom with PE and feel as though I only have a couple “cycles” in me left before I completely give up. There is only so much time a logical person can put into something and not be getting any results from, right? So, should I go back to the Newbie Routine? Should I do an exclusive stretching routine? Unfortunately I don’t have the privacy to hang or pump anymore. Or, should I just give up entirely? WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!

Q4L

PS - This has been a very difficult post for me to write. I know this post may come across as discouraging toward Newbies or even intermediate PEers who are struggling with gains. That’s not what this post was set out to accomplish. I just wanted a post that culminated my 3 years of PE, and to include my frustrations, thoughts and feelings toward my past and future PE journey.

Someone with more experience than I needs to chime in on this one.

Yea, this is a tough one. Surgery is always an option but we all know how that can go.

Have you been following sparkyx`s EIM-thread?

How about if you try a jelq/stretch-routine, measuring BPFSL every day and using that measurement along with your EQ to see if you can get gains in BPFSL? Just a suggestion. I am making progress with this approach (only hanging instead of manual stretching) after a very long plateau.

Good luck, what ever you choose to do!

PS: I still have picture proof of your length gains. Have you concluded that you did not gain from the modified newbie routine? Was it a measurement error? Not trying to be a smart ass here by the way.. I am just wondering.

This is a hard one. I have only been at it for about 5 or 6 months, but I have felt this despair at times. Three years is a long time. I comend your tenacity! I would have quit a long time ago. Your penis is probably so conditioned by now that its stronger than superman. Try taking a LONG deconditioning break. Say 6 months or so. Don’t touch your penis for anything PE related at all! Then start the newbie all over, sticking to it. Also, use an all day hanger/ADH. I use monkey bars heavy hanger vac, combined with a leg strap and surgical tubing. See mongros posts on this. The beauty of this is that you can hang alot more weight than your traditional ADS, and for way longer periods of time. In just under a month of use, I have increased my flacid stretch length 6/16ths of an inch. I can use it all day, and I even sleep with it on. Its that comfortable. I have yet to see the increase in erect length, but I believe that it is coming soon.

I really believe tho, that there are way more important things in life than this. There are over 3 billion people on this planet. We all live, we all die. On the grand scale of things, PE, and having a big dick, is probably one of the least important things in life! If you can’t gain, maybe it means that God is not letting you gain for a reason. Maybe he has someone out there for you that YOUR size is perfect for, and if you were to get any bigger, you would no longer be perfect for her. Just a thought. Anyway, just keep your chin up, take a deep breath and embrace life for what it has to offer. Don’t let this insecurity ruin a relationship with someone that loves you. I can say that I have almost done that. When you think about all the things going on in our world, we sure look petty for worrying about our penis size don’t we? Good luck to you!

I did gain 1.2 cm BPEL and only about 1/4 of that in NBPEL (don’t ask me why it was such a big difference) from your IPR routine. I also tried a second a third cycle which did not produce any additional gains. After the third cycle, I took a 2 month deconditioning break while in Europe. When I returned, my gains had disappeared.

The way I see it, you have 2 options that are both expensive, but are literally the only things left for you since manual PE isn’t working for you:

1. surgery

2. chemical PE (check out stagestop’s thread)

Best of luck to ya! I would take the chemical route if I were you.

It is entirely possible to “know” everything there is to know about a certain subject, and still miss the proverbial boat. Think of all of those “duffers” out there, spending countless hours, and plenty of money trying to figure out their golf game never to lose a single stroke.

Unfortunately, PE is not like golf: we can’t sit there and observe your routine as you jelq, measuring how hard you grip, following your recovery process. Despite all of your name-dropping, PE is a personal endeavor, and the responsibility for success or failure lies with one person only: the person at the closed end of the dick.

Riiiight. How the heck would you know? I know because I went ten years without a gain in BPEL, and started gaining length only after joining this site, and making the jump into some PE methods that I had considered crazy before. I’ve gained, lost, and regained more than I lost. I have evidence these methods work because I have my own private photos and public records on this site.

PE is a physical endeavor, involving skill, adaptation, metabolism, and recovery. It’s not just about faithfully and blindly following every new routine that comes along and looking for the “Holy Grail of PE” in old posts.

You’re absolutely right. I don't know.

I just wanted to assure them just because I haven’t gained, it doesn’t mean that they can’t gain. The underlying message in my post is not that “PE doesn’t work”, but rather “PE didn’t work for me.”

I was considering Chemical PE. But I want to ensure I’ve totally exhausted all possible manual possibilities first.

Surgery? Never.

Q4L - I am right there with you. I have gained about 1/4” length, but no girth since joining. I admit that recently I have not been able to work as much as I like to (bad hands) in the last year, but I can pump.

My history has been sporadic at best - mea culpa.

My efforts have been less than consistent - mea culpa.

My results have been less than I had set out to gain - mea maxima culpa!

I have, however, gained: better wood; more consistent erection quality and a better flacid look. I also know, from the piles of evidence here (anecdotal and actual photographic), that PE will work to improve at least some aspect of penis health, if one even tries part-time.

I am not giving up on my work. If my hands (pre-arthritis) ever get stable, and I can work better than now, I will get back to longer jelking sessions. I can stretch left-handed, but not right. I can do some other exercises both-handed, but not consistently. I do, however, do a warm wrap or rice sock daily, for at least 30 minutes. If nothing else, it helps bring blood to the tissues, and I credit that for better erection strength.

I am also able to do some edging, but not much. Maybe if I ever get laid again it might pay off …

Hang in there, bro. You are not alone.

So you gained by following Babbis’s IPR routine but you lost those gains. I think you probably need to get back on the horse with either the newbie routine or your own custom routine. If you really want to continue focus on one thing either length or girth. After your decision on that has been made peruse the entire site for exercises specified for gains in that area. Make a list and check it twice :) Then make you own plan that will allow for a gradual increase in intensity. I know there are times that P.E. became a chore for me so I would put less emphasis on it and work on other parts of my life. Don’t forget the importance of being a well-rounded individual. Good Luck in your endeavors whatever they may be.
