That is some serious pressure. How long have you been able to work at that level?

I’m conditioned but can’t even imagine that pressure.

Good thread, had me thinking. When I first started I saw consistent improvements with 3x10 sets @5hg then I increased to 4 sets. Recently I’ve noticed a bit of a backward step and this thread seems to have hit the nail on the head for me as the only changes I’ve made is to increase length of time in the tube with a reduction in pressure to 3-4hg depending on how I feel.

Going to go back to 4 sets of 10 minutes to see how that goes and then add an additional set rather than staying with less sets but more time in the tube.

Rest between sets

I read a lot about rest between sets, but very little about how long to rest. Are we talking about 15 minutes rest? 2 hours? What seems to work best?

I am up to 30 minutes at between 3-4 h.

It’s not all about set duration. There is a balance between pressure and time. The higher pressure, the less time to pack. The lower pressure, the longer set is needed. I get massive from only 2 sets of 5 minutes at high pressure. On lower pressure that would take me at least 30 to 40 minutes. Then on higher pressure I get a mildly more vascular look than low pressure longer sets. So it kinda depends on what you’re looking for. I mean, having the dick all plumped is fine, but it’s not the best for having sex since it’s softer. I realized that these short sets at high pressure give me less trouble with blisters, which is the main reason I stopped pumping a few years ago. 3 sets of 5 minutes at high pressure is not that good for it starts to build lots of fluid. 2 sets in the morning, 2 sets at night, seems to be making my length grow. I’ve started this experiment around 21 days ago and inside the tube I can go 1,2cm deeper than what I started with. It’s like newbie gains again. I don’t know how permanent this is though, since my earlier experimentation with pumps never got me anywhere in that sense, it was all temporal.

2 month update:
I continued pumping at 5hg for 15min sets and made great gains.
Today I tried 10 min sets for the same total duration and I noticed there was no edema, yet I expanded just as much as the 15min sets. The 15min sets had edema, but I made gains off of it. Now I wonder if I could have made the same gains pumping at 10min sets vs 15min.

I believe after a certain duration, a bit od edema is guaranteed. It can be reduced with different pumping methods. For me, anything after 45min in the tube will cause edema. I will have slow expansion and less edema with shorter sets, but faster edema and expansion with longer sets. Maybe if one is on a time crunch, longer sets and shorter TOTAL duration is best.

I also want to note after shorter sets, it’s easier to get erect post workout for edging and glans doesn’t get too deflated.

I am getting blisters second time in a month even though I am maintaining pressure around 10 Hg. I don’t know why I am getting them even at below 10 Hg. My pump comes with a gauge and I have to keep pumping to hold that pressure level, otherwise the needle drops to zero Hg automatically.

I have 1-2 months of manual pumping experience.

Your penis may require more time to get used to the vacuum. Drop down to 7 Hg for a few weeks, then try increasing it one step at a time.

Hi y’all first post, I’m starting a new routine this week it’s 5/5/5/10 minutes 4-7 hg n the morning and a increment pump 10x2 min @7hg at night . Daily until EQ drops or life makes me take a break. I have a theory that might pan out. I’ll let y’all know in a month.

I’ve been pumping for almost two years regularly
