Some newb questions

Some newb questions

Got my LAP cylinder and cannot get over the quality and comfort. That aside I have a couple questions. I am incorporating pumping into my newb routine. I warm up, stretch, pump, jelq, pump, jelq, pump, jelq. I have only been pumping for 2 days now. I workout every other day. I have only been doing pumping sets @ 2Hg for 5min with heating pad. My question is at this Hg I feel alot of stretch. And after my 3rd set I really feel fatigued towards the end. Is this normal for one starting out? Seems from what I have read people say they do not feel a stretch at 5Hg. My pump is new so I would suspect that the gauge is accurate. I only squeeze the handle maybe 2-2.5 time to get to 2Hg. Trying to do everything I can to limit damage. I want to start off slow.

Don’t worry about what other guys feel, go by what you feel. You are starting out just fine. After years of pumping at high and moderate pressures, I am now firmly convinced that low pressure is the way to go. My maximum pressure these days is 3.5”hg although I spend most of my time right around 3”hg.

My recommendation for you would be to stick to the lower pressures and as you feel the need to add more to your routine, add more time, not more pressure.

Stick to your plan to progress slowly and you will be rewarded with great results.

By adding more time, do you mean to say more overall sets or more time per set?

Reason being is there was that thread that stated max time inside a pump during a single session should be max 15 minutes.

Also, I was wondering why you are convinced that low pressure pumping is the way to go, after having given higher pressures a shot? Is it because you had lymph buildup forming or is it because of some other reasons?

Thank you.

Register is currently doing three 5 minute sets. He would up his time on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to go to three 10 minute sets and then three 15 minute sets with a max of three 20 minute sets. If you find 20 minutes per set is too much, back down to 15 minutes. You could then go to four 15 minute sets. Once you reach an hour of pump time, that is a pretty good level to stay at.

For me, the higher pressures resulted in either too much lymph fluid, too much discoloration, or just too much trauma in general leading to diminished erection quality and all or any of these conditions do not promote good penis health or growth. At first, the higher pressures create an impressive expansion and false impression that what you see is what you get, but in the long run, you get diminishing returns.

Low pressure keeps trauma levels near or at zero while still providing enough expansion to promote growth of healthy, not damaged tissue.

How long of a break in between each set? I know it’s suggested to do some jelqs inbetween, but how many or how long?

Started - 1/6/07 - BPEL 5 7/8" - EG - 4 3/4"

Currently - 4/13/07 - BPEL 6 1/8" - EG - 4 7/8"

Goal - BPEL - 7.0" - EG - 5.5"

I take about 5 minutes. And when doing jelqs in between sets, don’t do forceful jelqs. The pump has already done the expansion work, so just to light to medium jelqs to stimulate blood flow.

Instead of making your PE routine a game of force, make it a game of finesse.

When I was starting, there were often days when 2-3 was ‘too much’, and days where 5-6 felt like nothing. It’s much more consistent now (over a year later). When it feels too tight, ease off, go and apply more heat, try again. You’ll eventually become conditioned to it.

I agree with gprent on this. Pumping like most other PE exercises is meant to be taken gradually and dont expect any spectacular gains over night, all this stuff takes time. I never pump above 5hg, this is the max. pressure for me. I usually do 3 15 minute sets close to 4-5hg. In between sets I’ll do roughly 50 wet jelqs and back into the pump he goes. I do not have a set time between sets, some say 5 minutes is sufficient, I do 50 jelqs, others may have another idea. This is something youll have to play around with to see whats most comfortable and beneficial for yourself. All in all, pumping has produced the best results for me since starting PE. Ive tried everything from the newbie routine (which did produce gains), hanging, stretching, and clamping which I still incorporate into my pumping routine. The results speak for themselves. Stay in your comfort zone, it gradually increases over time; it just would suck to injure your penis
