Well.. I’m back today to report some extreme foolishness on my part. I dropped in at another adult store I remembered about in my area after work yesterday - and guess what, they had a couple of cylinders in stock - a 2.25” and a 2.75”.
They also had the Kaplan pack for almost twice what I paid - only, I noticed the box was smaller. I took a closer look at the tube it came with and not only was it marked (unlike in mine) 2.25” - it was also considerably smaller than that one I have. I figured somehow my pack must have had a 2.75” or something.
Anyway, after the attendant phoned around to their other stores looking for a 2” tube and not finding one (one of the stores had a 1.75” but it was a Falcon or San Fran or something ‘cause it was like AU$140), I bought their 2.25”. When I got home I measured the one I had - I think it’s a 2.5”.
Oh - by the way - the one I got was a Colt, only AU$37. It claimed to have a “universal” connector, and looked exactly like the connector on the Kaplan tube, but the hose didn’t fit. Rather than get a new hose as well though, I managed to unscrew the valve on each and swap them.. That worked.
I went on to have my first successful pump. The tube is still a bit too big, but I don’t think I’d like to go as low as 1.75” anyway. And I found that it didn’t really suck much pelvic flesh in if I was a little more careful with the application of lube (I’m using Dove moisturizer for all my exercises). It wasn’t uncomfortable like the other tube was either.
Anyway, given that I’m planning on really working out and making some serious gains, I figure sooner rather than later I’ll need this size anyway so I’m gonna continue using it for now.
I just thought I’d end my post with the routine I tried last night - comments would be VERY welcome.. (Some background first - I have trouble maintaining my level of erection during exercises even with porn on - I typically jerk it till it’s hard, let it ease back to a level JUST comfortable to jelq, and then jelq as hard as I can until it’s too soft to - doing kegels along the way).
- I showered and warmed it all up with a hot wrap.
- I started with some stretches - two 30 second stretches in each direction (up, down, left, right).
- I hardened it up and jelqed for till it went down (about 10 min in all).
- I hardened it up again, and pumped it up to 5Hg - held that for 10 min, spending the last 3 min pumping to 7Hg for short periods, then releasing it to 5Hg again.
- I hardened it up and jelqed till it went down another 2 times (about another 20 min in total).
- I applied a heat pack afterwards.
