Agreed. The gain from tissue relaxation is a wonderful and unexpected benefit from stopping PE, but I did earn it…I like your concept of it just being revealed now. I’ll just hope that things don’t ocillate in the other direction before my return to action.

Don’t freak out if you lose 1/16” or even 1/8”, especially over 3 months off. It should come back quickly.

No, I won’t freak out if I lose some gains. I should have said “…ocillate TOO MUCH in the other direction…”. I know I’ll get any lost gains back, and more, upon resuming action.

The 3 month decon period is the more conservative of the 2-3 month duration that, based on what I’ve seen, appears to be the generally best regarded duration for well conditioned penises (penii?). Given that I was doing pretty high intensity hanging before going to decon (pretty well coditioned penis) and the fact that this will be my first decon and I want it to “work”, I want to stay a little on the conservative side with my decon duration. Do you think 3 months might be too long?

Here’s the rub, my 1 year PE aniverssary is 8/10. I know I’ll be tempted to start again then.

How well have you been gaining recently?

My first planned break was 4 weeks. I had gained 1/16” each month for two months prior. I got 1/8” in about 5 weeks after the break.

I don’t know the optimum amount of time. 1-2 weeks off never did anything to speed my progress, but 4 weeks did. Is longer better? Maybe. It probably depends on how conditioned you are to start with. My last break from hanging was pretty long, but during that time I made my dick practically bulletproof from a very intense EU routine (I’m through with intense stuff - doesn’t work for me).

I think if you’re hoping to be able to use greatly reduced weight, 3 months won’t do it. Maybe a year or more. Who knows. Long time.

If you’re wanting to rest long enough to pick up a spurt of relatively easy progress, 4-8 weeks may be plenty, especially if you come back with a new approach, such as working different angles.

My gains have been slow but steady for the last several months, but slowing to the point where the required weight+time to continue movement became prohibitive.

My re-entry program is still in development, but it will be very different than what I’ve previously done, primarily because the first design criteria is long term gains sustainibility (clearly not the prime directive of my training so far).

At this rate you probably will hit 9x6 by your goal date.

I also got some spontaneous girth gaining (about 1/8th inch) after stopping although I don’t know how long after stopping it was because I didn’t measure for quite a while after stopping and there it was 5.5 EG instead of 5 and 3/8! If only it worked like that for length!

Thanks PEanist, I feel both very lucky and very proud, the former because I think I have a PE friendly physiology and the latter because I know I earned those gains.

Actually, I’m redesigning my PE approah and may need to realign my size goals in accordance with the new program. As I figure this stuff out, I will post new info.

I’m very glad to hear it! I would love to know how many who have taken a decon break experience this girth bloom. Maybe a poll?

One month into decon:

BPFSL = 8.75”
BPEL = 8.0”
EG = 5.5”

The decon EG “bloom” (0.063”) has faded, but the decon FL “bloom” (0.125”) has remained (so far). To this point, I’ve not lost any gains made prior to going to decon and have retained the 0.125” BPFSL gain made AFTER going to decon. So far so good.

Re-started PE on 7/3/05 after 1 month of decon.

I was shooting for 3 months, but “testing” became “training”:) .

My current training program is focused on tunica growth, with about a 70:30 length work emphasis. Phase 1 consists primarily of low work load stretching and jelqing with liberal use of a homemade ADS system and rest. I’m also using minor hanging and clamping, more of which will be used in Phase 2, which I expect to start in 4 to 6 weeks.

Since re-starting PE, I’ve gained 0.125” BPEL and 0.063” EG. My current stats are:

BPFSL=8.75”
BPEL=8.125”
EG(mid-shaft)=5.563”
EG(base)=6.5”

Current erect volume (EV), based on mid-shaft girth: 20.01 ci
Change in EV since 8/10/04 (12.93 ci): 55%

No change in size goals at this time.
