Thank you. That confirms my understanding of the compression mechanics. Like a basketball shot that crotches itself between the rim and the backboard. Should be smooth sailing from here on out.

Your modified bib hardcore looks great! Obviously you avoid the reasons why hanging is a pain.

Now I have a few questions, from what I understand the bib was designed not to put pressure on the dorsal nerves and veins, with your setup it seems the hanger grasps on a small area which includes the veins and nerves. Is it what you notice when you hang (at least visually)?
You attach very close to the base, and therefore limit the stretch of the tunica, could you use it higher on the shaft with success?

What do you think about trimming the top teeth and widening the bottom gap as a start to hang for longer than 20 mn, as well as avoid pinching in the bottom skin?

Xenolith, have you ever thought of applying the Fibonacci sequence to breaks (R-phase)?

What doesn't kill you makes you longer.

Hey Xeno.

Last night I finally glued the pilates band onto the BIB HC, completing all the mods, save for a little more tooth trimming.

Right now I’m hanging 3 lbs BTC going on 20 minutes with no circulation issues.

Do you feel that this hanger is kind of resting on top of the penis with this configuration? By simply moving the hanger upward (while hanging) I can lift the hanger off my penis, and it will slip down. Wondering if that is correct and the same for you with these mods.

In my previous experience with the BIB, I’ve had to tighten it down on the internals, to the point that it was clamping my CC’s and CS. This feels very different. I can go into more detail if it’s not making sense, but it’s like it’s gripping the top of the CC’s, even though I could just lift it up and off the CC’s without un-tightening the hanger. If I lift up on the weight, the compression disappears. Whereas in the “normal” stock BIB configuration, I could lift up on the weight, but the hanger still had a vice-grip of compression on my penis. This is very comfortable, but seems almost too good to be true and wanted to make sure I’ve got it right, and not confusing your set-up with some kind of loose setting skin stretch.

30 minutes now. :)

Xeno,

Been hanging a few more days with the modified BIB HC now, and do believe I’ve got it working as you described. Circulation barely impaired at all. No wrapping fuss. Hanging has never been so easy. In my last post I guess it seemed too good to be true. A lot of what Bib wrote about hanger attachment makes more sense now.

Highly recommend these mods to anybody who’s interested. And don’t spend too much time trying to get all the mods perfect. The permanent changes I made actually had a huge margin for error, looking back in hindsight. The top teeth are just in the way, they could be nearly completely filed off, and this configuration would still work. No need for precision, just filed them down a bit and get them out of each others’ way. And the pilates band super-gluing, just cutting out the correct shape to cover the “ribs of the BIB” and pressing it down with my fingers into the crevices worked.

I’m curious if you were able to hang with this modified hanger in SO or higher angles. So far I need to hang SD or BTC with it, otherwise it loses its grip, which seems to require some downward force (relative to the shaft). Maybe I need to toe it out even more to get higher angles.

Thanks for sharing yet another awesome PE tool, Xeno. And happy hanging to all.

So nice to learn of your positive experience BD; thank you. Yes, you’re in the zone with your BIB; your report of the large margin of error allowable with this modification reveals it…yes, that is indeed correct and I very much appreciate your service to others by sharing that observation…may it encourage others to choose to tickle their BIBs a bit and discover comfy hanging.

Yes, the upper angles get difficult due to sliding; above ~11:00 for me…BTS, SD, SO and the sublime Swami have been effective and enjoyable postures for me.

Happy to help; I look forward to learning of your findings from a more toed-out/high angle experiment.

I will let you know if I ever get higher angles to work, although I’m currently getting slipping at about the 9:00 angle, and don’t think this modded hanger would ever work above SO based on how it achieves its grip. It is good to know I could probably get up to the 11:00 angle though, with some tweaking.

For angles above SO, I think an attachment near the glans is key, which the BIB is not good at, even without the mods. I’m working on either vac hanging, or getting a homemade device similar to your stretcher to work. I was working off Rootsnatty’s similar design, but was very pleased to happen upon a picture of your “stretcher” that I read about and see that it works on the same principles as the one I’ve been building. Both you and Roots were able to get 0.75 - 1.0” beyond BPFSL with it. I’ve had no success with it initially, but after reading through some of your old posts just now, and seeing your design, I’ve got some new ideas to try out that I think could eventually get it operational.

While reading about your stretcher, I was reminded of that Nice Vice too. For how positively you’ve talked about it, and how much I’ve liked the cock coil and now the BIB mods, I bet that Nice Vice is some really good equipment.

Always good to have the best tools for the job.

I’d forgotten that I’d ever posted about my homebrew stretcher; that little rascal can really generate ΔL. For maximum effect, try it in a hot tub; and in BTC. The critical aspect of the design is a tight gripping clamp behind the coronal ridge. I use a cable clamp to tighten my stretcher’s clamp; bulky but effective.

Nice Vice can be improved upon: Tiger Trap or…Dragon Trap :) .

Only so much force the hands can generate…

Unfortunately the only hot tub I have access to would probably land me in jail for doing this. :) But that was one of the things I noticed last night that I was missing with this stretcher - heat. My bathtub is 14 inches deep so that’s my plan to avoid criminal charges.

Your clamp attachment on the stretcher looks like some engineering garage magic that I’m pretty sure I couldn’t reproduce. “Critical aspect” though eh? Maybe I will need to try it. It sure looks like one hell of a build job though.

I’ve currently got a vac hanger 3 suction attachment from MonkeyBar’s website that should work out in the long run once my technique gets better. It’s what Roots used on his similar stretcher, and he got about the same level of +BPFSL you did.

I think the submersion in hot water will do the trick, plus I need a base that’s wider and lower profile like yours.

I might try some Dragon Trap mods to the Nice Vice. But might as well start with the standard and simple proven build that got you so much girth.

Xenolith, did you ever think about increasing the length of your recovery periods to coincide with the increase of the work periods?

Yes, in accordance with the IPR hypothesis, R phase should increase with I phase; but to the more beautiful question:

I’ve been avoiding this question. Yes, initially; but experience led me to a shorter macro R-phase than the Fibonacci sequence indicated. My not following that indication is entirely due to my conformance with the common human extinct to pursue beating the odds…I know I exceeded the optimal stress/time window, both macro and micro, many times. I expect that the function that describes tissue hyperplasia achieves maximum productivity/time when the magnitudes of I, P and R conform to the Fibonacci sequence.

Could be wrong though…

Congrats. Truly impressive that you’re still gaining slowly but surely.
