First week pumping

My first week pumping. (3 days to be exact) The pump provided with p-shot doesn’t have a gauge but it is automatic. After reading some beginner posts here, I started all wrong.

When using an automatic pump, should I pump and release, pump and release or should I pump to my normal erection length and then maintain the pressure there?

This pump, turns on and stays on. There is pressure release button that I press to release pressure and release to resume.

If the pump was provided as a part of your p-shot treatment, didn’t it come with very specific instructions?


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Hey gprent, thanks for responding.

It came with instructions on how to operate it (assemble, charge, start, stop, release pressure), but not how to use it. When I turn it on, it will continue to increase suction I guess indefinitely. So I will tap the release button every 60 seconds or so as to prevent injury.

If it is a medical device, it should definitely have a safe pressure limit. Ask the doctor who gave you the P-shot what he knows about the pump.

Week 2 - What I've learned about pumping

I’m new to PE. It was a cascading journey that began with a c-ring about five months ago. I began jelqing in November and pumping this month (December).

I received an automatic pump as a free gift with a P-Shot treatment. I came home and as instructed set out for my first 10 minute session. Things that I know now.

1. You are not aiming for a size. I thought that I needed to pump and pump, continuously adding pressure until I reached some arbitrary “max” size. No. You are aiming for a feeling whether you have a gauge or not because 10hg can feel different to different people. As you can imagine, I injured myself within that first week. Funny thing, I had read stories about guys ejaculating in the pump, and even my doctor said, “it’ll be like getting a blowjob”. When I finished (I hit the 10 minute mark), I was in pain and my member was pretty discolored, and I can remember thinking “this does not feel like a blowjob”.

2. Get to know your pump. Take it easy. If you, like me, did not get instruction on how to pump, then your first session should just be getting familiar with the entire exercise. Learning where to place the tube for best suction, how to hold the tube and pump comfortably, how to quickly access the pressure release and other controls to manage pressure.

3. Warm-up. I use a bath cloth to apply heat for 5 minutes before and after a pump session. I also give it a few dry jelqs to move blood around. It seems that this helps with elasticity.

4. Take your time. This is a long-term task. Incorporate it into your routine. I focus solely on how it feels during sessions. I like to keep an alternating tug, like a blowjob.

5. Don’t cut off circulation completely. A comfort pad that slipped over the open end of the tube was provided with my pump. When using it, and as I “grew”, I felt increasing amounts of discomfort but thought that it was supposed to feel that way. Seeing the discoloration on my foreskin, I stopped pumping and pulled back. I realized that the hole in the pad was too small and it was cutting off circulation. It took me a week to realize that no, pumping simply should not hurt.

At the end of week two now, I am healing and having much better pumping sessions. In fact my pumped girth is larger than what I had been getting. Hopefully over time I will cement those gains.

Week Three - here goes.

This week began with a Gainswave session as usual and I formalized my routine and taking measurements.

Weekly stats ranged as follows:
BPFSL: 8” -> +1 inch gain.
BPEL: 7.5” -> my max is 8”, but I hit 7.5 most frequently.
BPFL: 6” -> +1/2” gain.
MSFG: 4.5”
MSEG: 5.5” -> +.25 gain
BEG: 5.75” - 6” -> +.5 gain

Notes:

Pumping has become more comfortable. I’ve learned how to control the pressure using the automatic pump. It doesn’t have a lock that will seal the pressure in the tube to allow you to disconnect the pump. I literally have to hold the pump and manage the pressure via the pressure release button. But, the gentle pulls and gradual “growth” feels better than when I used to begin at full pressure trying to get to my full size in 60 seconds. The pump takes 2-3 minutes to achieve a normal sized erection and 4-5 minutes to reach my max size. It used to feel strained at 8” but that has gone away. I’m uncut, so the most strain that I feel is around my foreskin although it is retracted, it’s very tight. My tube is 8 1/4 in length so I’m right against the top, but I won’t buy a new one until I reach a point where I can feel that I’m out of space.

The mid-shaft girth is still at 5.5” both when I pump and not, the base girth is larger at 6”. Since girth is my priority, I am really hoping to figure out some magic here. I have gained .25” from the time that I started but my goal is 6”.

Kegels are cool. I can actually feel the increased strength of the muscle. I can feel it when I urinate and during sex. I pretty much walk around all day doing kegels at random times. I alternate techniques from batched, quick reps to squeeze and hold. Ejaculation is stronger too. She choked when I came once, it was funny to both of us because it has never happened. But she still doesn’t know about PE.

My jelqs and stretching techniques are becoming more honed. They say practice makes perfect. I watched videos and read instructions but “you have to take a swing, to master your swing”. Jelqs are more fluid and I alternate between quick jelqs to extended sqeeze and hold jelqs. My favorite are three seconds and hold, with a kegel at the end. They take longer and I’m only doing 40 per session. I hope that this is long enough. I would increase it but my total routine is already 30 minutes. It is difficult for me to find that much free time daily.

I didn’t have a set schedule before. This week I decided on a 2-1 schedule. Workout two days, rest one.

Other observations:
Morning wood is more prevalent. Some mornings are “bigger” than others.
At 4-6 times per week, I think that we have sex a lot. That also affects my stats. If I allowed myself to become “more horny”, if that’s a thing, then my erections would always be maxed. I do use sildenafil at times.
I’ve felt the “strain” on my penis after a few sessions of tight jelqs and pumps. After rest, all is good.

So you’ve already noticed good expansion and girth gains after only two weeks? Or did I misunderstand what you wrote? If not, looks awesome! But probably it’s because you have just started PE in general, not only with pumping

What is your routine? I’m gradually working on reaching 30 minutes at low pressure 2-3 in-Hg

Yes, the .25" in girth came after the first P-Shot and pumping began. But I was pumping aggressively because I didn’t know any better. The very first .25" came a month or so earlier when I was using a c-ring and began learning how to jelq. So in total, I have gained .5" inch in girth in about 5-6 months of unofficial (no set schedule or routine) PE. I’ll keep adding progress notes (hopefully weekly), but please follow this thread (Daros PE Notes and Progress Reports) as I think the title is more appropriate to my aim. I was new to the site and it took me a minute, and some guidance from the mods to learn post etiquette.

My current routine is in my signature. I’ll stick to that for the next three months (through Feb. 2021) as I’m learning about my body along the way. It’s also highly advised by the vets here to stick to the Newbie Penis Enlargement Routine.

I don’t have a gauge, but I’ve never pumped for longer than 10 minutes. A couple reasons being, 1) I don’t have a gauge so I’m going on feeling alone. 2) I have to control the pressure manually during the pumping session. I do plan to begin longer, gauged sessions when I upgrade my routine in March.
