Hey everyone! I’m glad to be joining the community.

A month ago I purchased an automatic vacuum pump with 4 levels of suction. It is the non-water version with 2.5”x8” tube. Since then I’ve been using it 5 days a week, 15 minutes per day at around 5Hg (level 2 on the pump) although I started the first week at much safer pressure than that, which was around 120mbar (3.5Hg, level 1 on the pump). So far no issue and no bruising except for small red dots and a starting of doughnut if I extend the duration to 20 minutes on level 2. Symptoms vanish a couple of hours later and that happens very rarely. I’m just testing the terrain from time to time without going too far. That’s the way to get some gains, right? I’m now paying more attention to those issues and reduce the workout when signs start to occur. I’m also 46, a bit late to start joining PE’s world, and tissues are less responsive than at 30.

I’m joining Thunder’sPlace because I want to share and document my progresses, and know what you guys think. I need to implement jelqs into my routine in order to improve girth. I’m starting at 6.5 BPEL x 4.9 MSEG and my ultimate goal is to get to the 8x6 mark. Since MSEG of 6 is my priority I won’t focus on length for now. That will be the eventual bonus once I achieved the main goal.

I will be starting the newbie linear routine for jelqs but I wanted to check with you how I can implement my pumping regiment to it which I mentioned above. Any thought? Maybe you can share your experience with pumping/jelqs for newbies?

Yes, @Titleist. I started the linear version of the newbie routine. Just wanted to have your input on the best way to implement my pumping routine to it. Should I alternate—one day 20 min pump, one day 20min jelq—or incorporate both in the same day routine but reduce the duration of each, such like 10 min pump followed by 10 min jelqs? Will that provide better results for girth? Thanks

Ok, here’s the routine I’m going to try for the next 2 months and report the results back on a monthly basis. We’ll see how it goes and adjustments will be made along the way.

1- 5 minutes warm-up with usb heat pad
2- 10 minutes of pump at 3.5Hg
3- 1 minute pause
4- 5 minutes of pump at 5 Hg
5- 5 minutes of jelqs (alternating between V-Jelq and reverse OK grip for shaft width)
6- 5 min heat

Frequency: 5 days a week, rest on Wednesday and Friday
Edging and kegels are performed everyday to maintain core fitness

I think that it’s advised not to jelq after pumping, but before.

That’s good advice @damianromante. Will modify the routine accordingly:

Quick question about pump tube size. My tube is 2.5” of diameter and my actual girth is 5” and a width of 1.8”. Will that have an effect on the girth progress I will make? Should it be smaller? I really appreciate that pump since it has everything I need: 4-levels automatic pressure, timer, li-ion power that last forever, fantastic suction, an adequate sealing ring, etc. I would be very sorry to put it aside until I develop the girth to fill it. @Titleist, or any other fellows that have strong experience with pumping, I would really appreciate your input on this one.

An over size pump does not effect the pump process. You can have productive PE sessions once you learn how to use it. It can make it easier to suck in your balls, which is at a minimum uncomfortable and generally painful. A larger tube, particularly if longer, can also be more cumbersome which can lead to pulling free and loosing vacuum.

I started with a 2.5” and used it until it began to leak.

Some guys like to “pack the tube”, meaning when your penis contacts all sides of the tube, and think it can lead to more length gains. There is a validation of the process when you do begin to fill the tube and need to move to a larger one. It’s a little ego boost, too.

Thanks @32quarters That’s reassuring. I’ll keep using it then. I once read something about the fact that the wider the tube the faster the girth results, something that has to do with lesser pressure volume in a given void space, and having more impact on the surrounding environment. I don’t know. We’ll see overtime. The sealing base membrane is tight, very well made and I never had the balls being sucked in. The base of my shaft is my weakest spot. My penis looks like a baseball bat at the moment, all natural girth on the upper half. I’m stuck with that shape since my childhood. I’m trying to work on that over this year to even the width. Strangely, my girth measurements are almost the same on the whole length of the member because the corpus spongiosum underneath is a little bigger at the base. The tube is 8” in length and I’m already at 7” when fully erect and pumping. So I might have to replace it for a longer one if I start touching the pump’s head. But I doubt that could happen any time soon because I do not focus on length improvement at the moment although I can gain length very easily. I wish I could gain girth volume as fast!

By the way @32quarters, did you gain a whole inch in girth only between January 2019 and now? That seems a lot. What was you preferred technique to achieve that? I wish I can reach the same results.

I am not sure where you read this but it is absolutely nonsense. The size of the gap between penis and cylinder has effectively no impact on the vacuum level reaching the penis.

Here’s an example to illustrate what is going on:
Consider when you dive into deep end of the pool at 10’ depth. The pressure you feel on your ears does not change if you are in a small pool or a large pool. From a physics aspect this is the exact same situation, even though one is pressure and the other is vacuum. Remember vacuum is the reduction (absence) of pressure below atmospheric pressure.

No, my stats show I gained about 3/4” from 1/19 to 7/20. The 1/4” came slowly before then. I gained an inch in length pumping without heat way back, then began using heat intermittently. Funny(strange) thing is my wife knew I was pumping, but I didnt want to let her see me using a heating pad. I finally got over that and began using heat constantly, and the girth came with it. I probably increased my pump times in there somewhere, don’t recall exactly when. I’ve been pumping one hr sessions at -5inHg twice a day for well over a year now.

I had been pumping for multiple years before I went to the long sessions, so one does need to be well conditioned before doing so.

Man, I so much envy all of you who’s wife know they are doing any kind of PE. Mine is not even aware of my pumping and heating sessions. Nada. She is afraid of this kind of stuff. I need to do it in the night, hidden in my man’s cave. Fortunately, doing jelqs is less ubiquitous and easier to conceal in the shower, etc. She’s almost in perimenopause, her libido on the zero mark and sex is not on her menu very often so she didn’t see my latest progress until she had a little sex rush recently. When she saw me down under she was “What the hell?”. I had to come up with a good excuse, and will have to provide even better excuses in a year or two when her hormones will kick back in :-) . A little surprise is heading her way. Jokes apart, it feels good to share those little facts of life with other dudes. By the way 0.75” on a period of a year and half is very good. I believe that heat pads along with careful pumping sessions are actually very helpful in developing strong gains in girth. You’ve just confirmed it with your experience in pumping. I’ll probably stay within the 15 minutes at -3.5 to -5Hg for a while since I’m just starting. I tend to develop a doughnut if I reach 20 minutes at -5Hg so I’ll keep it safe for a couple of months.
