Long-time PE'r, new routine
Hey everyone,
This summer I got back into PE after taking a long break. I first started PE around 10 years ago. I only ever did manual stretching, jelqing, and stretching. I never maintained a super consistent routine. I would do some stretching, jelqing, and/or kegels every now and then. I definitely noticed some gains but I never took official measurements. I also noticed improved EQ and increased vascularity.
I suffered several injuries throughout my off and on PE career. Most if not all of them were caused by jelqing. Typically what would happen is I would get a hard flaccid and have aches and pains throughout my penis and suffer from ED.
These injuries put me off of PE for a while. And it seems that my penis never fully recovered from them; there seems to be lingering damage. It’s not terrible; my penis still works, there’s just this noticeable difference between my pre-PE and post-PE penis.
3 weeks ago I tried using infrared light to see if it would help my penis. I kept a 20” distance between my penis and the lamp. But my penis had some coconut oil on it. Evidently, oils can heat up and cause minor burns under IR heat. My penis got very irritated from using the lamp for around 15min. It seemed like it was a minor burn. 3 weeks later my penis is still irritated. It is itchy and stings and is painfully sensitive- it is similar to friction burns I’ve had on my penis from intense sex or masturbation sessions. I am eager to heal so I can get started on my new PE routine. I have been applying aloe vera, coconut oil, and shea butter several times per day and it seems to be helping somewhat but my penis is still irritated. This is taking longer to heal than I figured it would. Do you have any advice on different treatments for penis burn/irritation caused by IR lamp?
Also, the routine I am looking to start is mainly a pumping routine. I am wary of jelqing since I’ve been injured so many times from it.
