Re nofap, I think it is healthy to masturbate a few times per week. I don’t think keeping semen stored up is particularly healthy.

Over the past 2 months I have had dull aching in my testicles and my glans. I can only imagine this is due to a lot of semen build up within them.

Another question is, where does one stop with nofap? Going on a mini nofap of two weeks is fine, to build the hunger back up and challenge yourself, but after that it becomes pointless.

Is the goal to never masturbate again? What could that possibly achieve?

Well again the subject is a bit complex but I will try to help with some scientific factors.
A chinese study has indicated interconnection between sexual abstinence and peak testosterone in a group of men, and noted that only after the seventh day there was a peak in testosterone increase, here is the link to see more information.

That is, according to the study, after the seventh day there will be no significant improvement in testosterone increase (many thundersplace users use that study and ejaculate weekly).

On the other hand, a second study pointed to a group of men who stayed 3 weeks without ejaculation, in which case testosterone levels did not increase but in this case the testosterone level increased significantly during the stimulation of masturbation. Well, I had something very similar to what you reported in that case. However, my mistake was do edging because I noticed that I did this in the form of exercise but in the case what happened was a prostatitis. The pre-cum fluid went into the inside of the urethra before the bladder, and what happened was that my penis was 40% erect with the swollen glans (as if the body of the penis wanted to ejaculate). But I discovered that this pattern only happened when I was edging, so I stopped and the symptoms disappeared.

Even if you take supplements to increase sperm volume (arginine for example), this would not be the cause of the pain (internal pressure of the testicles).

My opinion is that NOFAP is for men who want to control themselves. We are shaped by sex 100% of the time until in an irrational way. An example was this article: Testosterone makes men more impulsive | The Economist

Well as of today I am officially on month three. The main signs of nofap for me after the first week is a dull aching feeling in my glans and testicles which is most unpleasant. This has stayed the whole 3 month duration so far.

I am not sold on nofap at all, I feel the same as when I haven’t masturbated for a couple of weeks. I don’t think doing nofap for more than 2 weeks is at all beneficial, but I am doing it for experimental reasons.

Extended “Nofap” can be a good deconditioning break if you had problems with overmasturbation and/or porn addiction. For people with normal patterns, I would no recommend it, unless your goal is to become a monk of some sort and or kill, tanscend or suppress your desires.

IMHO, overmasturbation and too frequent ejaculation are not good energetically and psychologically.
Porn addiction and frequent ejaculation make you numb and you lose your libido. I want to share my experiences in this thread so any person can decide what it’s better for themselves.

Well, I have tried no fap a few times in the past. My longest streak was of 65 days in march. I think I could see some “benefits” as keep intense contact eye with people. But that was all .. Actually, when I finish my streak, a couple days after, I had a sexual intercourse with a woman in a bar (lol)

Two weeks ago a decided to have another test with no fap but now I’m seeing that it’s very hard for me to keep the erections and this affect my routine. Also, how a said, I have been in this a few times and every time the no fap affects my peeing, it turns slowly.

I think this is not my thing, because no fap has just give me stress and a hard jelqing routine and the most important, I think have affected my prostate or something because I’m feeling a little pain between my ass and my genitalia and I definitely want to stop this.
