I found this site a decade ago when I was in college and it became top spot on my favorites list. I used to read for hours everyday and became obsessed with PE. I’m not sure exactly what I started off at, but I know after a lot of time and quite a bit of money spent I didn’t grow much. I take full responsibility for that as I was too inconsistent and I got too ambitious by not taking the “less is more approach.” I started trying to get into all the heavy stuff too soon.
This time around I’m older and wiser. I’m currently single and have the time on my hands so I’m going to give this thing a go one more time using principles I’ve learned from my past experiences.
I went and bought a c-clamp light fixture and a 100w IR lamp for it. I will keep constant heat on my unit for the entire duration of my workouts.
I’m going to follow a workout model called the Trinity Blueprint. I’m not sure if it has great reviews, but I found a copy of it and it seems like it is set up pretty well.
I’ve been at it for my first week. Today starts my second week. My current routine is:
M-W-F
-Warm up
-4 x 30s stretches (1 each direction)
-50 x 2s wet jelqs
-20 x 3s dry jelqs
-4 x 30s stretches (1 each direction)
-50 x 2s wet jelqs
-25 x 3s dry jelqs
-4 x 10s stretches (1 each direction)
-Warm down
Current Stats:
EL: 6.1”
EG: 5.2”
FL: ~4.75”
FG: ~4.7”
I’ll only be measuring every 4 weeks and changing up my routine based on the measurements gained(or not).
