RedCommander's Hanging with Ultrasound Log

RedCommander's Hanging with Ultrasound Log

Decided that the old hanging with FIRE thread wasn’t accurate and created this one with the new name so that others could find the topic more easily. Mods please chime in if this is not the right way to go about this.

So for background, I am using the SoundCare Plus found here: https://www.ten spros.com/sound … und-dq9275.html

I am running it in 3MHz mode at 2.0w/cm^2 power output. It does support 1MHz but at my stretched girth that doesn’t make sense considering the penetration depth.

My current setup has me doing each session standing with a pulley under my desk to support my LG vacuum hanger.

The 60 minute session time is divided as follows:
30 minutes - warm up with gradually increasing weights every 7.5 minutes
20 minutes - heat applied and weight continues to increase (weight increased after 10 minutes, halfway through the US cycle)
10 minutes - heat is removed and weight is increased

Weight progression is as follows:
Warmup - 2lbs
Warmup - 2.5lbs
Warmup - 3lbs
Warmup - 3.25lbs (non-heated max Mpa)
Working Weight - 3.5lbs (begin using ultrasound)
Working Weight - 4lbs (continue using ultrasound)
Cooldown Weight - 5lbs

Completed my first ultrasound session today, and I would label this session as a failure but not without things learned.

Strain was 0.0% and I have a few ideas why:

1. Pulley system not optimized. The bungee cord has too much slack and not using a wheel based pulley system is causing too much friction interference with the weight. I was originally using a hook I got from Home Depot, but that is looking suboptimal now..
2. Therapeutic temperature not reached. The entire session I was struggling to detect heat in my penis. I need to determine what part of my setup is causing this.
3. Hanging straight out using pulley under desk and applying ultrasound dorsally. It’s possible the air gap caused reflection and contributed to the heat issue.
4. Improper technique. I was moving relatively fast up and down the shaft as I was afraid of cooking my dick. I did feel the occasional pinching mentioned around here but don’t know if I was moving too fast. I’ll try to be a bit braver next time but was very cautious in the first session as these are not toys we are playing with.
5. Unhooking and rehooking the weight arbor to change plates could be disrupting the creep process by allowing everything to shrink back down when not under load and then causing stiffening when the load +n is quickly reapplied. It probably takes about 15-20 seconds for each plate change.

The LG hanger is great for static loads but the dynamic nature of this routine make it difficult to do smoothly. I’m trying to determine another way to add weight without using the arbor.

I would also love to hang over the leg like igigi but unfortunately, my penis just isn’t long enough to support the technique. My NBPEL is around 5.75 and the vacuum cup from LG removes 1.5-2" easily. Additionally, the diameter of the vacuum cup causes the head of my penis to be raised and prevents me from laying it flat on my thigh, which would bring me back to the air gap reflection issue (assuming this reflection is happening).

Hoping igigi or Kyrpa can help me troubleshoot these issues. I am one of the unfortunate few who have not responded to PE despite years of trying. Perhaps I’ve gained 0.25" ever. The ultrasound method was one of my last attempts before accepting that maybe I am one of the few who simply cannot gain. I was very encouraged by the success others have had with this method and have high hopes it will finally bring me the gains I’ve been trying years to get. I will continue my efforts to figure this out but hope I can get guidance from the more experienced members.

Couldn’t help myself and decided to give it another go today. I will figure this problem out.

Tried the OTL method and was finally able to make it work. The tissues were definitely able to get warmer, but I still don’t think they got close to the therapeutic range. I think having my warm leg against part of the shaft helped prevent heat loss and increasing the ambient temperature (space heater) also contributed. Making smaller and slower circles with the device also seemed to help.

This was a rougher test and I just slapped 3lbs on with minimal warmup. I have a few thoughts after more extensive reading today.

I suspect the most important aspect of the entire process isn’t necessarily the weight or stress relaxation vs creep; it’s the heat. My previous method hanging straight out had too much of my penis exposed to the cold air and I was losing heat faster than the US could add it. I believe that ambient temperature is important for minimizing heat loss and having 2 transducer heads may also be more important than I originally thought.

I will conduct another test tomorrow in the 1MHz range. My goal right now being to maintain a stable therapeutic temperature. It would be fantastic if this methodology could be simplified without the complicated warmup procedures, etc. Maybe a little of the 80/20 rule in play? 80% of the success of this is from the heat penetrating deeply into the septum while the remaining 20% is min/maxing type things like trying to reach exact strains before applying heat, etc.

I’ll update again this weekend with my findings of 1MHz vs 3MHz.

Also, I have been applying US dorsally. Since I will switch to 1MHz I will flip over and apply the US ventrally instead.

So some fun developments that I’m very excited about. Inspired by Kyrpa and some other posts read during further research on TP, I have decided to make my own strain based device.

I have a license for Fusion 360 CAD software and access to a high quality 3D printer, so I will be able to design pretty much whatever components I need.

My plan is to create a device that does the following:
1. Functions based on stress-relaxation instead of creep. It will reach a certain length and then lock into position to stop pulling.
2. Measure weight of current load on penis.
3. Accurately measure distance in mm of extension
4. Has safety quick disconnect
5. Helps prevent heat loss so active heating methods of the penis are more effective aka solve the heat problem. It must RELIABLY heat the penis to 40C.
6. Measures temperature of penis (will have to be surface temperature due to the invasiveness of methods to obtain internal readings).

I will be testing this with both ultrasound and my infrared heating pad from TotalMan.

My goal in creating an easy to use system for myself is to also create an easy to use system for others. I came up with several drafts over the weekend and will have to buy some parts before I can begin testing. I have full time work as an entrepreneur and have a diverse skillset as a result. Unfortunately, my time is often very short so this project will probably take a bit longer than I’d like.

Either way, I’m very excited about this and will share some early drafts and work. Looking forward to input from any engineers on the forum.

Just an update that I’ve been VERY busy but have a few designs I’m working on. Most promising will function a bit like a winch with a ratcheting mechanism.

Have some big personal stuff going on for the next few weeks and then I’ll have more time to dedicate to the project.
