Time to reassess or stick with it?

Approaching my fifth month of using an extender (size genetics), I measured this morning. The measurement was pretty disheartening and was consistent with a measurement three weeks ago. I could make an argument for an added .7cm at 100 per percent erection and digging the ruler into my pubic bone. It seems a measurement prior to that was inaccurately optimistic. I started at 6” and now I’m between 6” and 6.2” or 3, depending on the day and more importantly on EQ. I used the extender at a low tension for the first few months but managed to increase the bars. For the last three months is been fairly high, between 1000-1200g, 7 days, at least 8 hours, with the occasional half day every few weeks. I’m now extender at 7” to 7”1/2. Wearing it has been brutal at times, mentally it’s taxing having to wrap, rewrap and readjust it every hour. I had envisaged wearing this thing for 8 months at the most, using it consistently and intensely. Now I’m not even sure if I should continue, given the low returns for such an intense effort. I was thinking of hanging, which seems less time consuming at 90 mins per day, plus the possibility of girth gains around the base. I’ve been jelqing and manually stretching and it seems girth is easier for me, certainly the results are more noticeable, so I suspect I may be one of those guys that increases girth easier. Frustrating, as I’d love to focus on girth work, but know that’s probably not a good idea and that length must be my first focus. Any thoughts guys?
