Blog Summary
Well, I think we are now far enough into this that conclusive statements about the efficacy of the PhalBack can be made. As a reminder, I am a hard-gainer and PE has done nothing for me since I learned of it way back in the early 2000’s.
In less than 60 days, my total volume has increased 17.5% and is not showing any signs of stopping. Unfortunately, due to a number of obligations, I will have to take some time off (a planned 4-6 weeks). However, this is not necessarily bad news! PhalBack has reported that many people reach most of their gains by 8 weeks. However, deconditioning periods have not been fully explored, and it is very promising that by taking a month or two off (the time period is yet to be fully determined) the gain train can be restarted to a degree. This concept is very similar to Kyrpa’s methodology in his 6 weeks on X months off using ultrasound with hanging/extending (see Thunder’s Place for more information on this). I will complete my deconditioning period, and then restart using the device for continued progress.
Having said the above, I will have to concede that it does not appear I am on track for the 1″ of erect girth in 90 days (BPEL is a little more nebulous – it’s possible I could put it on in another month, but unfortunately, I won’t know).
There are two ways this can be interpreted:
The PhalBack’s claims are exaggerated and it is not as effective as promised.
The PhalBack is as effective as promised and even works on a hard-gainer like me (to a lesser degree) who has failed to gain anything from PE despite years of attempts.
I am in the latter camp and quite pleased with my results so far. I 100% believe that I will continue to make great progress after my deconditioning period and am excited to start again.
These gains total 17.5% total volume in under 60 days. It’s pretty clear at this point that the PhalBack works. My wife says she can feel the added weight and thickness, although surprisingly enough doesn’t really notice the length. I’ve probably gotten fatter during the trial so that likely didn’t help. That aside, as stated previously I am very pleased with the results so far. Would I pay 20K for this? Yes, but only if they let me keep it for much longer than 90 days to max out the gains. I am also pretty financially well off, so don’t take this as a suggestion to buy something you can’t afford! There are plenty of other methods that have also been shown to work that won’t break the bank. The PhalBack is about buying time.
The system truly is simple to use and when you work directly with their team, they are very helpful in moving things along and solving problems. The device is not quite as simple as pushing a button. There is a lot of optimization required and other factors that need to be just right to keep gains coming. You can see in my spreadsheet session log that there were many obstacles to overcome and a lot of experimentation. If you have a mushroom shaped head, your journey will be easier than mine.
From my experience so far, the most two important things for the PhalBack to work are:
Properly sized chamber
No skipped sessions
My advice to other users of the system would be to experiment a bit and to make sure that you are not skipping sessions (allowing your tissues to heal and get stronger) and to be very careful to inspect your biofeedback and results to make sure you are in the correctly sized chamber. Don’t be afraid to test things, and absolutely reach out to the PhalBack team if you feel lost or like things aren’t as optimized as can be. They monitor the data, but it’s just not the same as what you are aware of with your own penis.
I spent a lot of time dabbling with the #12 chamber before ultimately resigning to the fact that I wasn’t quite thick enough for it yet. Moving back to the #11 and my length is looking pretty great. They have told me girth does not have the same stalling problems that length does, but I do seem fortunate in that I’m putting on length so quickly compared to many users (I think I am somewhat anomalous in that aspect). My goal is 8×6 and I won’t stop until I get there.
