Chemically Induced Peyronie's Disease
I’m a new user, but long time lurker. I always told myself I would try PE but at the end of the day, I had 6 inches, my sex live was good and perhaps it could have been better but I was lazy. Flash forward to now, I’m a 33 year old addict/alcoholic that in the last 2 years has developed hypo thyroidism, low testosterone, high blood pressure, and weight gain of about 50-60 pounds from the abuse of alcohol, drugs, and a crappy diet and lifestyle. I have taken Suboxone in maintenance therapy for about 4-5 years. I believe all of these factors have caused my condition. I have developed a plaque at the base of my penis that has decreased the girth in that area (and my girth is on the low side of average [4.5-5 inches]), and curved it which has caused my penis which has been straight as an arrow my whole life to tilt to the left, and I’ve lost about an inch in length and I simply had no extra length to lose. This is pressing into the fat pad so even when and if I lose weight and get in shape the problem remains. I used to use this as another excuse to remain loaded, but after a(pardon the pun) sobering apartment fire I took stock of my life and I have stopped drinking and using other drugs, and I’m tapering the Suboxone. I’ve been taking medication for the hypothyroidism and I’m going in for my second blood test in several weeks. If my testosterone is still low I plan to do TRT with an aromatase inhibitor. I’ve done research on peyronie’s treatment options and they are depressing to downright scary. *deep breath*
I think that’s all the past you need to know about my situation. I wanted to put this in Men’s Health but I am not allowed. My questions are these:
Does anyone have experience with this, medication, born with, or mystery caused peyronie’s-like plaque symptoms?
Is there anything people with more experience with PE think could be helpful to break up the plaque, increase blood flow to the area and regain lost girth, length and original penis shape (even if it just a percentage, say 60% recovery for example)?
Is there any other advice anyone on this forum can give me and other people like me? I’ve done searches and there is not a lot of info on this. Thunder’s may be the wrong place to look for answers but I really want to find out what anyone knows about turning this situation around naturally before I start looking into treatment options which are potentially significantly more dangerous than PE at it’s worst. Thanks.
