DMSO + Iodine Experimental Treatment for Deflated Glans and Firm Flaccid

I need to know if this 5% diluted apple cider vinegar and castor oil in combination with this thyroid nascent iodine that was left over basically dried on me from a previous DMSO application can cause a chemical burn. Has the DMSO done something to my skin? I need to know what is happening. Some dead skin peeled off today from the area I put it on and now it just appears like a chemical burn scar.

I also added magnesium oil to the mix of DMSO and iodine. I bought the same ingredients as the OP did from that link. Afterwords I put castor oil on my entire glans and then I wrapped a gauze that had some ACV soaked into it onto my glans and secured it with another wrap.

I’m still trying to figure out how this happened. It seems that you are more likely to get an iodine burn if you add a bandage according to an internet search. The first day or two that I tried the DMSO, nascent iodine, and magnesium oil I was getting some promising results. I got excited about it and that’s when I decided to add some ACV to a gauze and wrap it around my glans, securing it with an elastic ACE type bandage. I also coated the glans in castor oil before wrapping it. The iodine was dry though. It wasn’t the first time I did an ACV wrap with castor oil. I read that ACV and DMSO was a treatment to dissolve scar tissue so I didn’t think that this could happen.

I basically have what looks like some type of chemical burn. I can’t tell how serious it is yet. It’s possible that it is blistered because of the shape, texture and overall appearance of it. What is most upsetting is I don’t have much sensation over this injured tissue. I took the end of a paper clip and just gently rubbed the area to test it for sensation and there isn’t much there. Maybe because the skin cells are dead and need to shed over the course of a few weeks and get replaced by new cells.

Right now, I put some castor oil and a few drops of frankincense essential oil, and wrapped it in gauze and an ACE bandage. I’m going to get some pure aloe vera gel and some lavender essential oil later on today. If anyone can shed some light on this situation it be appreciated. It seems that these pure iodine solutions are caustic. I didn’t read this entire thread so I’m not sure if there was any warning.

I had a similar thing happen with DMSO iodine a few years back, it healed fine, try not to worry about it.

Thanks man.

I used DMSO/iodine/vitamin E to induce a light peel and remove discoloration. See here.

Discoloration is gone, skin is good as new, and I have no loss of sensitivity.

I think I have good news. I was able to peel a small portion of more skin around the area and it appears to be normal and healthy. I ran the paper clip tip-end and sensation feels normal. I’ll wait for the rest to heal more before peeling it off.

I do have some vitamin e oil but it’s tocopheryl acetate which may irritate the skin in the peel phase, so I didn’t use it. It seems the active ingredient in the one you suggested, α-tocopherol is the most biologically active form in humans. Thanks for the suggestion.

Did the Dsmo + iodine help with vascularity?

Is it okay to leave dsmo + iodine on all night ?

I just found out that I’ve injured my penis by doing some unhealthy pumping. There is a “hard” spot on the shaft directly below the glans. The urologist thinks it’s the reason I’ve recently developed a twist in the penis, where the glans points 20 degrees to the left. He gave me some medication that is supposed to help loosen up the plaque and help it heal.

I’ve been trying to understand what’s covered in this thread, but I’m not really sure it applies to my situation. Maybe someone reading this can let me know if it’s worth my attention. Thanks.

Allergic reaction to iodine solution!

I’d like to chime in with my own experience on using DMSO+iodine+Mg solution, as formulated by the original poster x10d.

I’ve done it over the past couple months. Previously, I had developed a scar on the underside of my penis, I think from wrapping too tightly. Pics and description are here:
Scar line developed on underside of penis—what to do?
This was why I was trying the DMSO/iodine/Mg.

At first, the solution seemed to be working really well— my scar wasn’t going away, but my EQ was great and I was waking up with some big, super-hard erections. I was also putting the solution on my perennium and balls, but I did not experience any increased pee flow as some other posters noted.

Fast forward about 2 weeks, when against my usual habit (I never wear underwear) I wore underwear for a full day after using the solution. Maybe this confined the area too much? I’m not sure if this factor only accelerated the inevitable, but, I developed redness, raised bumps, and a rash in the area where I applied the solution.

This sounds similar to what post #529 in this thread mentioned:
DMSO + Iodine Experimental Treatment for Deflated Glans and Firm Flaccid (p. 36)
Also similar to post #810:
DMSO + Iodine Experimental Treatment for Deflated Glans and Firm Flaccid (p. 54)

So my theory was that I somehow transported a bacterial or fungal infection into my penis using the DMSO. I went to the doctor and got various meds. Long story short, nothing really worked, and I began to break out into itching and hives all over my body.
Longer, more miserable story short, I went off of everything, and began testing the solutions one by one: I am definitely allergic to the iodine solution. It is the "Detoxified Iodine" from the Iodine Source that other people are using.

My understanding is that it’s impossible to be allergic to iodine. I don’t know if this is actually true, but the literature out there gives compelling reasons for it. Just google "iodine allergy". On a related note, I also have a bottle of "Povidone iodine topical solution"— I put a quarter-sized spot, maybe larger, on the inside of my arm: no reaction. I do the same with the "Detox iodine": all hell breaks loose and by that I mean itching all over my body and rash that lasts for days.

So I guess there is something in the iodine solution that I’m allergic to! :O
I thought I would post because some others on this forum might find this information useful.

But quite frankly, this fuckin sucks. I still have the scar on the underside of my penis, and I’m kind of back to square one. I’m continuing to use DMSO by itself, but I’m not really seeing any noticeable effects. Maybe I should try the Lugol’s iodine and see how I react? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Bad luck on the iodine, why not try the lugols and find out.

Also had a look at your injury thread, I don’t think that’s scar tissue, looks and sounds like a blocked lymph vessel.
I can’t see how its possible to develop a scar like that but wrapping can easily cause a vessel to block.
They can be a pain and be there anything from weeks to months but nearly always resolve themselves if left alone.

Thombosed Vein vs Clogged Lymph Vessels

Have you tested a new / different bottle of the detoxified iodine? Is it possible that your iodine sample somehow became contaminated?
