Dears Oberyn Martell and nblade98,
As a beginner, I started practicing jelqing to achieve some gain in length and girth. After the second week practicing the newbie routine, with sessions of 3 minutes of stretching and 10 minutes of jelqing, I started to feel that my penis had difficulty to get and maintain an erection without intense physical-visual stimulation.
I could even have sex, but if it wasn’t all too hot, my dick would just soften in the middle of intercourse.
I no longer had morning woods as usual, nor did I get hard spontaneously throughout the day, as sometimes happened.
During the day I was constantly stimulating my penis in search of something that would bring me some peace, but on the contrary, the more I tried, the more frustrated I became.
On the other hand, my life was truly fucked up, being employed by a large Brazilian oil company and a businessman who had just opened a big business in Brasilia, which demanded (and still demands) a large part of my energy.
In addition, a sedentary lifestyle and the absence of a balanced diet made my blood rates all alter, especially LDL cholesterol, now known to be related to erectile dysfunction.
The frustration and insecurity were such that I went into paranoia, not knowing what could be causing the problem, whether the stress, the diet, an over-training in the jelqs, the blood rates or even an injury caused by PE.
I made an appointment with a urologist, but before that, I read a very good interview with a Brazilian urologist called Dr José Mário Reis. Among other interesting things, he said that using the drug Sildenafil / Tadalafil was a way to diagnose whether the cause was physical / organic or psychological. I freely translated this excerpt from the interview: "José Mário Reis - I believe that sildenafil has come to stay, because it proved its efficiency in the cavernous body considered competent, that is, without pathological changes. In this respect, this drug even serves to test whether there is a organic disease or not. If taking sildenafil correctly, a full erection occurs, the system is probably healthy. In neurological injuries, that is, in innervation injuries such as those caused by diabetes, bone marrow trauma or prostatectomy, the answer revolves around from 50% to 57%. For these cases, self-injection shows better results.
Therefore, I bought a Cialis 20 mg and took it 30 minutes before having sex with my wife. Wow! What a wonderful sex with extremely hard dick.
The next day I woke up with a Bonner and thought; "it is certainly the rest of the effect of Cialis". But to my amazement, the erections came the other day and the next and the next.
My erections were just as hard and long lasting as before! I don’t know what it was, but the key just turned. Even the low sexual desire returned.
I don’t want to say that the cause of your problems is psychological, but today I’m sure that the biggest enemy of erection is called adrenaline.
These whole things turn into a vicious cycle: you get hurt (or think you got hurt), your penis needs to recover, but you get more and more anxious about it not working properly, the situation gets worse, it generates more dissatisfaction and anxiety and the whole thing feed them back.
I am happy to be back in my best shape and have already returned to the PE routine, in a gentle way.
I went to the urologist and he asked for some extra tests due to the altered blood rates. In relation to ED (which at the time of the consultation was already cured) he told me that the substance that most causes impotence is called adrenaline, since it is a constricting vessel.
Sorry for the long report, but I thought I could help in some way.
I hope, very sincerely, to read soon that you are completely healed.
