Glans Appearance = Terrible

Guys, since I started PEing with Vacuum based products my glans appearance is so deeply grooved and cracked it is terrible to look at. I have read the threads on dekeritinization but from the photos i’ve seen and the methods i’ve tried to use to alleaviate it I don’t think this is what I have.

Do you think if I went to a urologist they would have something to remedy the appearance? I hooked up with a girl a couple of weeks ago she was so grossed out she stopped, and hasn’t spoken to me since.

What do I do? I am afraid there is nothing I can do to make it smooth again. I have tried lotions, and keeping it covered up for months now and nothing seems to work. Can someone please help me out I am getting desperate. I am afraid to even show it to another girl.

Please help me out.

I am thinking about trying this:

Salicylic acid is known to be effective keratosis treatment. I also started using an antidandruff shampoo containing Zinc pyrithione.

Keratinization of the penis is just like any other callus formation on the body - it is an adaptation to external conditions. The calluses on my fingers from playing guitar are simply keratinized tissue. If I stop playing for a period of time, they will go away. Keep the glans moisturized and covered as much as possible and the body will shed the keratin. I’ve only begun to do this for a couple of days and I already notice improvement.

Humpty what do you keep your glans covered with? I tried using silicone scar sheets for 3 months and the appearance remained unchanged.

I just started using a simple bandaid. Don’t know if it’s working yet, it’s only been a few days. Wouldn’t the scar sheets form a layer between the glans and the skin? I think you want the skin to cover the glans, not the sheets.

I was keeping the scar sheets on my glans to act like a faux foreskin. Then I resorted to a ban-aid while covering the glans constantly with Eucerin (alpha hydroxy based lotion). This has been on going for several months and the appearance has not improved.

Let me know if you find something that works, i want to continue PE badly.

People say keeping it covered will improve it. Are you keeping it covered entirely, even at night? Is there really no improvement at all, even in sensitivity?

I kept it covered for over 3 months. After I took it off in 1 hour it looks exactly the same as it did before day 1 of keeping my glans covered. I would put Alpha Hydroxy lotion on my glans every day and keep it covered 24/7.

Madduppz a pic might help people diagnose it. I don’t know any thing about keratinized glans but if humptys started to get better in a couple of days and yours has remained the same for 3 months then maybe you have something different.

Mine’s not necessarily getting better, it could just be a little bit less rough. The larger cracks from keratinization are still there.

It’s not fancy or expensive, but you might try using Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. It is an excellent dry skin healer and works as well as chap stick for your lips. As a matter of fact, you might also try using chap stick that just happens to have petrolatum as a main ingredient.

Gprent, I originally used vaseline for a little over a month but unfortunately that did not work either. Thank you for the advice though.

To get pictures on your computer you.need either a copier, or transfer it to the computer from your camera.

This requires a bit of reading and I would suggest you do a google search using the search line on Google with something like

“How to include pictures in your internet posts”

Read up the subject and come back to us with any questions. There are a few points you have to consider such as the size of your picture.
