Hard/clogged vein just below my penile head - Any advice?

Hi all,

It seems like I’ve gotten my first PE injury and it probably happened when I used too much pressure during a 15 minute session of water pumping.

Just below my penile head on top of my penis I’ve had this vein for years that usually always gets hard after a girth session. I can get it from jelqing alone, but it’s usually worst if I pump or jelq also. Through all these years I’ve always been able to get rid of this hardness by gently and firmly massaging it just after the session. At worst, it’s stuck for a few hours before subsiding.

However, after my last pumping session it’s still there! I haven’t done any PE since and have been taking ibuprofen 400 mg 3 X daily for the last few days as it seems to be recommended on these boards. I also try to add in some warm wraps and light massage whenever I can. It’s completely pain free, but it obviously doesn’t feel quite right…

I have been reading a bit about these on the forums and there was one thread where the OP didn’t follow up in the end. But it seemed to be exactly the same issue. I also read some other guys having it and it seemed like it persisted for a long time.

Any advice? :)

Thanks in advance.

My experience, best thing is to leave it alone.

Had a few long term ones but they all vanished eventually, weeks to a couple of months.

capernicus1,

Thank you for the feedback. No PE (girth work) during this period? And maybe even a few extra weeks of additional healing?

It seemed very persistent with no improvement so I was prepared for a long break now, but it seemed dramatically better yesterday. I will keep monitoring it.

Take 2 weeks fully off then quit pumping and focus on clamping.

Why clamping may I ask…?

I’ve tried clamping multiple times, but it seems like I can’t make it to work for me and I always seem to end up with reduced EQ.

Pumping has always been more favourable for my EQ and I also like how it’s not just for girth, but also length. Especially now that I’m trying to cement length gains from hanging.

If you tryed clamping and didnt work for you, probably you were doing something wrong or prolonged clamping session. On the other hand, if you find yourself comfortable with pumping keep doing it, but pumping does not provide real gains. There is not a single photo proof about this. A good clamping session will often result in EQ drop for a couple of hours and even some slight turtling, but later on the expansion is insane.

Really?

That’s more than I know. And I fail to understand why pumping shouldn’t provide gains.

That’s my initial response, but at week 2 or 3, my EQ simply doesn’t recover and I’m unable to get good expansion even during my clamping sets. There are actually quite a few members who share my experience on this.

I’ve tried babystepping into it with very small and moderate sets also.

I’m willing to try it again, but for now, I’m a bit skeptical.

Yeah complete rest was the only thing that worked.

Thanks, capernicus1.

It seems like it’s not quite gone yet, but certainly far, far better. Phew. :)

I still have this problem. It’s noticeable every morning when I sport a morning erection.

I wonder if it’s here permanently or if it can disappear? Is there anything I can do at all?

I haven’t dared to any PE since. Haven’t had the time either. I might have tried if I did, but since I’ve been short on time I’ve decided to take time completely off.

Sorry to hear this Renholder, one option would be to see a urologist. I know, not always the most comfortable conversation, but you certainly might quickly get some of the answers that you are looking for.

I think we can...Little Engine’s Climb

Hi, LittleEngine,

Thanks for the input! :)

Any idea what an urologist might do to help this matter?

It has improved a bit since the last time, but it remains an issue. I THINK perhaps I could do some PE now and I can have sex (whenever that happens once in a blue moon) and masturbate. I currently don’t have time to PE anyway, so…

Maybe it will improve even more in the time to come. :)

Renholder

I’m bumping this thread! :)

I have done no PE since this injury. The break was motivated by the injury, but I didn’t really have time to do PE then either and that is still the case.

I still have this vein and it’s not quite normal to me. I can easily have sex with it and it’s not painful, but not sure if I could resume PE (jelqing/girth work) at this point? Is there anything that can actually help?

I plan on possibly getting back into PE this summer. Would be nice if something could be done to eliminate this problem. But maybe I don’t need to eliminate it.

To repeat what I already said - I’ve had this vein pretty much as long as I can remember and it has often become hard or more pronounced after PE sessions. Usually, it has subsided naturally or with the help of massage. It just happened that it became permanent after a too intense pumping session.

I recommend reading this. Thombosed Vein vs Clogged Lymph Vessels

I have only ever had one thrombosed vein, but I had a clogged lymph vessel that took what seemed like forever to heal. I have had other clogged lymph vessels, but I have been able to massage them away. If one type of exercise seems to aggravate it, stay away from it. Be it pumping, clamping, or just jelqing. Different exercises can affect different people, well, differently. So, I am very careful and keep an eye on any hard or sore spots developing while I am working out. I currently have a lymph vessel that will get a bit harder if I pump too hard or too long. But I’m aware of it and keep an eye on it. As soon as it seems like it is acting up, I knock it off. And possibly massage any hardness until it is gone.
