I am pretty sure I know what caused this, but I am curious what you all’s thoughts are? I have been doing PE on, and off for quite a few years, and never had an injury like this. I started trying something new recently (actually have only done it a couple times. Both were after a session in the shower of my usual pumping, stretching, and jelqing. But after I combined two other techniques (both of which I have used independently with no problems before), that being doing the bundle stretch while hanging.

I didn’t even do that much of it. After the first time or two, I experienced a very tender and inflamed ligament (I believe, I am not sure) near the base on the right side. It was large and stringy and kinda hard and viable. It went down after a couple days, especially after I tried icing.

Next time I tried this however, the same reoccured, but also it looks like…. I don’t know how to describe it. It extends from there, up the side of my shaft, and around a bit. It’s been a week or so, and has subsided a bit, but definitely still there, prominent and tender.

Thoughts?

Mine being first off all, these two techniques should not be combined (at least at the force and tension I applied.) Secondly I am wondering if I might have tore my tunica a bit? I also have some inflammation under the head where the wrap for the hanger goes.

P.S. I had also been using a cock ring after to prolong engorgement which I think may have contributed to the ligament inflammation. But what I am most worried about is the Tunica.

Well it’s been over two weeks, and I am still not back to normal. Some of it has subsided, but definitely not all. Nobody has any thoughts on this? I am wondering if I tore my tunica, or a ligament, or what, and if it will heal on it’s own?

My advice would be to remain mindful of whether it changes, for better or worse, after certain activities, like sitting in various chairs, showers, ejaculation, etc. or eating any foods in particular.

@ inspirit, it has been getting better. I have backed off from my PE, and cold water (and ice) seems to help. Interestingly though, I pumped this weekend a bit, and it didn’t avgrate it, in fact stretching it out seemed to help. Chairs and food, ect, seem to make no difference.

@lifestyle, I don’t think I described this quite correctly. I have pics, but they are very unflattering.

I am starting to get a bit worried. It’s been over 3 weeks now, and although it has marginally improved, only barely marginally. It’s still quite prominent (my girlfriend noticed it last weekend), and still painful.

I am not sure if I did well describing it, and I am still wondering if I tore a ligament? Although that thread lifestyle posted, does seem to be right on point. Basically it feels like a hard piece of string, with a knot in it at one particular place about at the midpoint of the shaft, extending on the right side of my shaft from the base, and kind of ziz zaging at about the mid point before the knot, all the way up to just below the head of my penis, at which point it kind of forms a ring just below the head, and around the shaft.

Anyone have any other ideas, or tips on recovery? A year seems like a very long time to have my cock like this. :(

Search the forum for “thrombosed vein.” You’ll find hundreds of posts describing exactly what you’re describing. I’ve had exactly what you’re describing.

I think a thrombosed vein is confused with a blocked lymph vessel (sclerosing lymphangitis), and that is what you are describing.

Lay off the PE and give it time. It should be mostly resolved in a couple months.

Thanks Lifestyle, I really do appreciate it. I think it’s quite possible you hit the nail on the head (no pun intended.)

From my years of pumping experience, I am well aware of the lymph vessels below the head that become engorged from pumping (mushroom dick, lol.) That is exactly where that band that feels like a hard string, encircling just beneath my head is (also running up the right side of my shaft and ziz zagging across my shaft at about the mid point.)

I hope you are right lifestyle, and that it will resolve itself. It bites I got to take a break from PE, I was making some good progress.

I will give it some more time, and see what happens. I am not feeling an urgent need to go to the doctor,. I still get hard, and can fuck my girlfriend, and on the pain threshold it is at about a 2-3 on a scale of 1-10, so it’s not really that bad.

I will keep this post updated, but my advice to other PE’rs out there is:

Don’t combine bundle stretches (to any significant amount of torque) with hanging significant weight.

I am happy to report, I am finally recovered, and back to PE. Wow that took a long time. Interestingly, when I resumed my PE (before I was fully recovered), pumping actually seemed to speed the healing process. Possibly clearing the clot, or I don’t know. But anyways, just wanted to update this injury report.
