I am now carrying not one, but two injuries. I was hoping to get some good advice as to what they are and what to do.

I’ve searched this site for key words relating to my injuries and found some good information, but also what I’ve learned now begins to worry me.

I guess I’ll start with the one that bothers me more. 1st, neither of these injuries hurt, there’s no pain. THey just dont look good and they’re starting to worry me that they’re not going away.

I injured myself a few weeks ago, I think doing horse’s stretches.
So this injury has persisted for about 4 weeks. I have a small lump on the underside of my penis, just behind my circumcision scar, that is, just slightly closer to the base, and just slightly on the right side of the penis looking down on it. It is somewhere between the size of a dime and an m&m. Maybe its about the size of a peanut. Its slightly discolored, in that it’s slightly lighter than the surrounding skin. Its roughly circular. It seems to be part of the skin- I can pinch it and sort of pull it away from the shaft. It just feels like a lump of scar tissue is lodged under my skin.

I dont know what it is. Please tell me its not a thrombosed vein. Actually if you think it is please do tell me. Should I see a doctor? I’m really embarrased to. I’m just getting worried that its not going away. I’ve stopped doing horse’s stretches, and I’ve cut back on jelquing, but not entirely.

The second injury concerns my circumcision scar. Its discolored, on about 1/4 to 1/3 of the ring, on the underside. Its dark like the color of a bruise. This has persisted for probably 2-3 months. I think I got it from doing Uli squeezes, squeezing at the base of my penis with a reverse OK grip. I think I got it because I stopped my PE exercises for a while and then got back into it too hard too fast.

Does anyone know anything about these kinds of injuries? Has anyone experienced them firsthand? are they permanent? or do they eventually go away? should I stop PE entirely? I’m confused about what’s the best thing to do now. I recently got a bib hanger. Should I wait before hanging? or can I hang but not jelq?
I still want to get gains, but I’m ready (though not very willing) to stop temporarily if I have to.

Please any advice would really help.

First off Horse’s are squeezes - a girth exercize not a stretch.

What you describe sounds like it could be either a thrombosed vein or an ingrown hair. If it rolls around freely beneath the surface of the skin its probably a thrombosis. If it does not and is closely linked to the surface of the skin it could be a ingrown hair or some other skin structure problem. Stop pe now - all pe at least for a week and continue hot wraps and kegles. Keep us posted on new developements. If not better in a few days or if it seems to be getting worse, see an MD.

Definitely follow luvdadus’ advice. Dont have a nervous breakdown over this “injury” just yet either. The discoloration…sounds like typical stuff many of us have including myself. Check out my pics in the members forum and youll see what I’m talking about. I personally LIKE the discoloration. On your lump, I’d take off for a week like advised already and, focus on lightly massaging that spot and using heat on it a few times a day. If it’s not gone in another week…two weeks is the longest I’d give it do not hesitate to see a urologist. Dont let being embarassed keep you from fixing a small problem that (although highly unlikely) could manifest into a bigger problem? “Shit, son how long you had this lump?” “Well about 4 months” “Why the hell didnt you get it looked at sooner??” “I was embarassed too”….

It could be a thrombosed vein. I had something similar to that and it took a long time to heal. Heat and massages were what I found most useful for speeding the healing time. I would advice you to do them as often as you can.

And one more thing. The time you think you are completely healed is the time to be smart and give it a few more days. Trust me on this.

Thanks all for the advice. My feeling is its probably a thrombosed vein. Just when I was getting psyched up for some gains.
O.K. I’ll refrain from PE and rock the hot wraps.

Does anyone know how long these things take to heal typically?

Yes I know Horse’s are sqeezes, but for some reason people were referring to them as stretches in the posts. People say it stretches the tunicae (laterally). I agree squeeze is a better term.

Something else I neglected to mention is…when you get back into your PE…make sure you begin EACH session with a warmup session. Like a few minutes (5 is more than enough time) of jelqing semi erect. This will help prevent a thrombosis or bleeding from your urethra …….that happens from not warming up and getting into intense stuff too quickly and as a result capilaries in the urethra near the skin surface burst. I’ve never had pain from that just a few drops of blood and then it stops. I’ve NEVER used a hot rag or similar things to warm up. Would you apply a hot rag to your chest before hitting the gym to do some bench work?? No, you do some light warm up exercises before hitting the heavy weights. Similar idea with the jelqing/squeezing exercises. You need to do some exercises to expand the tissues and get them ready for whats coming up.

How long off for a thrombosis?

I’d say 3-6 weeks depending on the size of the thing.
