Well look, pelvic floor pts get paid to help people with pelvic floor issues. The reason it’s a credible field of study and profession, is because it has shown to consistently get results for people with that particular problem. If it really had a 99% failure rate, it never would have become a legitimate profession. So if you have a pelvic floor issue, and you see a pelvic floor pt (particularly one with experience treating men) you should be responding to treatment.
If you want to try other things, just start with the one (or few) that you think would be the best, try it/them for a month or so, and if you don’t see any results, move to the next thing until you’ve gone down the list. And I personally wouldn’t worry too much about what different people keep saying. You have to consider why they are saying what they are saying, and sometimes it’s just because someone else said it to them. That’s how rumors spread.
