Lumpnodule in scrotum, from PE

I discovered a small nodule like thing (like a pea) near my right testicle, not on the testicle, distinctly separate but right there, like at the top, it is quite small but firm/hard, not spongy. I’m wondering if the compression from the base of my ADS has caused some damage or if this is a naturally occurring cyst or something.

I made an appt with a urologist, but of course it’s like two weeks out.

I know I will stress over this the entire time.all of the “it could be this, it could be that” thoughts. I’ve read all the threads here about varicocele, researched varicocele on the web, and it doesn’t SEEM like that, although the odd thing is that I read that varicocele is thought to be a result of compromise of the venous drainage of the testicle, which would certainly be reasonable to connect to the base of the ads, since that bottom edge of the base does kind of compress the scrotum at that point, it’s unavoidable by design, I think. I never thought of it as painful, and thus, as not damaging, but perhaps this entire time I’ve been compressing the vein/cord, whatnot, or causing unnatural pressures in the vein.

Anyone ever have anything similar or can think of how this would relate to the use of an ADS (I have the X4 Labs )?

It’s not actually even visible to me through the scrotal skin. It’s definitely not visible to a casual observer. Even when I use the fingers of both hands to maneuver it as close as possible to the surface it really doesn’t yield any visual clues to it’s composition. I have to do it all by palpation. It literally feels like a small bean of ovoid shape- if you had a very hard varicose vein it might have a similar resilience to pressure, but this seems far more rigid than most veins even when under a lot of pressure. It is also unrelated to erection/arouasal, it’s there all the time.

I am puzzled.and I confess a little bit freaked out. It’s not an emergency, clearly, but I have enough knowledge of physiology, from my college days, to be dangerous - ie enough to know more about the body and disease than the average layperson and to scare myself silly with the possibilities, and yet not enough to rule enough of them out or to make a solid diagnosis.

Varicocele doesn’t necessarily gives pain and it’s not terrible at all; I had it and removed after 1 year or such, so even if it was a varicocele (I’m not saying it is) two weeks won’t make any differences.

So said, I think it could be simply a contractive reaction due to the excessive pressure of the extender against your scrotum. When you noticed this thing?

Just noticed it within the last couple days! Been using ADS since June or so.

Stop using the ADS and see if the nodule goes away. Wait for the Doc opinion, but I wouldn’t worry so much in the meanwhile.

Is it possible you have had it for years and not noticed it before?

I don’t think it’s anything you need be worried about, but it’s good that you are getting it checked out.
